My issue was with the actual haul call center after renting the 26 foot truck at the location with the very nice staff, the call center called a hour later I could barely understand her and she down graded my truck to a 20 foot after telling her I could not down size. So I went in Friday morning with the disappointment of a 20 foot the lady in the shop said no you can definitely have the 26 foot like you requested and booked. U haul really needs to re look at there Canadian booking system. If a person is able to book a truck for the day and time slot there should be NO back tracking on uhauls end. Like I said the staff at gloosecal service center went above and beyond for me even after the main call center dropped the ball

Mark MThe dashboard was filthy and the cup holders were covered in coffee stains. It is a local company so I cleaned the the entire dashboard and did not complain. I drove the truck 23kms, put 8L of fuel in it and returned it within 3hrs. I received an updated contract three days later that charged me for an additional 11L of fuel. Does this math work for anyone reading this review? 19L of fuel for a 23km trip? The customer service team in Dartmouth thinks this is acceptable. My car gets 7L/100km fuel economy. According to the math, this truck gets 82.6L/100km fuel economy. I have rented many Uhaul trucks from 139 Nichols Avenue in Kentville and had no issues because I always return my trucks clean and topped up with fuel but I decided to try this new location because it is closer to me but I now deeply regret it. If there is anything that can be done help me forget about this awful experience I would greatly appreciate it.
