I have rented a number of times from this location and it’s always perfect! It’s busy season and I understand the turnaround time can be minimal. But the interior was pretty dirty.
Lisa CThe service individuals inside Mclendon are excellent. Outside, however, my truck was empty of gas, probably due to someone siphoning it from the unlocked gas tank at night. This created a series of hassles for me and the Mclendon staff that wasted about an hour of my life. The truck itself burned about twice as much gas as it should have. I can compare because I moved the exact same load the exact same distance in two different trucks of the exact same size, and I had to pay twice the gas bill on one of the moves as compared to the other. During this experience, the UHaul mobile software was also a source of frustration and delay because it refused to store the photos of the equipment I took, but refused to advance to the next screen until I had taken and stored photos of the equipment. Overall, I like Mclendon, and feel that UHaul itself needs process improvement.
