When I got there to pick up my truck, it wouldn’t start. Had to wait to get a new one. When I went to return the truck, I tried explaining that the drop off box was completely open which wouldn’t leave the key in the box, secure. Instead of helping to see what I meant, he told me to put a code in. Which I do not need a code to return the key. It looked like the office needed to use a key to lock the lock box, he gave me a key that did not fit. Then told me to call, when he just needed a different key to lock it to. There was nothing anyone could do if I were to call. I paid $162 and feel it was very inconvenient to wait for another truck that started and the treatment received when trying to return keys.

It was just a parking lot with absolutely nobody to assist.

Debbie WPicking up with the app should’ve been easier and faster, but it was annoyingly tedious. We should have been warned that we not only needed to provide two references, but that we would have to sit and wait until they were checked. The location was unsafe and shady and we had to sit there with our kids in the car waiting for 45 mins just to get the truck. Ridiculous! Also, the price was out of control. I hate everything about U-Haul now.
Gerald DWay too difficult and annoying to rent a truck from you without in person customer service. It took me five pictures of my ID. I’m on other things I would never do that again.
