I made the reservation over the phone and was asked all the questions like if I was also getting the insurance to which I said no because I have my own insurance yet when I got to the location of pickup the receptionist there added it without asking me… when I called back to ask why the extra charge, she said she had asked and that I said yest but that’s not true my husband was there and confirmed to me that she had not so she lied. I told her to take it off and she said she could not and to call the 800 number to which I had a hard time getting through to an actual person. I figured I’d call back but when I got to my destination I got into an accident later that day and would not be able to drive the truck back to the pickup location in Tempe. My husband proceeded to call a U-Haul here in Tucson drop the truck off there considering the emergency we were with me being in the hospital the manager my husband talked to was very nice and said she would waive the wrong location drop fee which I appreciated greatly, however now that is all said and done I don’t think that’s what happened I got an extra charge of $57. and I was also charged the mileage for 230 miles but I only drove 115 miles. I’m requesting a refund for at least the mileage I DID NOT DRIVE.

Front desk employee was on the phone the whole time, tried to multi task but messed up my return day and location as my reservation had a one way drop off. I had to go find and get the truck from the back, didn’t share the cost or any of the paperwork with me and didn’t mention that the truck was due back at the same location, and since I had made the reservation and put for a drop off at a different location, I had no idea it had been changed since they barely communicated with me. I was definitely not happy when after a long day of moving I saw that the truck was overdue and the drop off location, time, and day had been changed.
