I reached the location but the location manager was not there at the location. I had to wait 30 minutes for him to come which is unacceptable and even after coming he didn’t have the courtesy to even say sorry for making me wait for no reason. I told him I have done everything on the app Including my driver license check and everything and told him the amount which the app showed me to pay . He took my credit card details and told me at the end of the rental period I will be charged for the rental depending on the mileage. He didn’t make me sign any rental contract and he signed me up for CDW without my consent . He didn’t even mention about it when I was there on the counter and I found out when I dropped the car off. This is misrepresentation and I would strongly advise no one to go to this location for getting Uhaul ever

Trust the other bad reviews; do not use this U-Haul location!! We chose to check in using the app given the poor reviews of this place. We did that just fine but to get the keys you need to go inside. Owner wasn’t there and some random contractor who was working on some drywall for the owner tried to call troubleshoot with us. Took 40+ minutes and still no keys to be found. Gas tank fully empty by the time the owner was able to locate the keys by telephone. We reserved in advance so I don’t understand why the owner wasn’t there to manage this business?
Etienne NStore was not open when specified. Got the uhaul 30 mins later than I was expected. When I got into the uhaul the truck was filthy. Smelled like animal feces were inside and there was still items in the van from the previous driver. Terrible experience and I would not come back here again. Having to pay $200 for that is ridiculous.
GEORGE KI had completed online check-in to speed up the process before arriving and it still took the cashier half an hour to hand over my keys. The van I had picked up was dirty and smelly. I had rented about a week after a very large snowfall in Toronto and the business had not put snow tires on their vehicles and also had not cleared their parking lot causing the truck to get stuck in the parking lot both when I was picking up the truck and returning it. The driving in the parking lot was VERY dangerous as it was small, unplowed and not even salted.There is not enough parking in the lot as it simply a convience store sharing a lot with other buisnesses. I would think twice about renting from U-Haul again and absolutely warn any one considering this location to not rent because of my experience.
Alex VOnly issue is the $18 charge for gas. No discussion of having to put more gas in before I dropped it off. The tank had only a little more than a quarter tank in it when I drove it off the lot. I only drove it for 11kms and did not put any gas back in since the tank wasn't full and I hardly used any gas.
