How dare you have the gall to ask me about my experience? You charged me $75 for insurance and then, when I needed roadside assistance, had the nerve to tell me that I chose SafeMove instead of SafeRide. You think the uninterested teenager behind 2 inches of bulletproof glass took the time to explain the differences in my insurance options. How dare you? A $500 truck rental, and then you tell me that for just a few dollars more, I wouldn't have had to pay the extra $200 roadside assistance. To tell me that there is nothing that you can do about it. That it's my fault for choosing the wrong options during my registration. How dare you? You think after this experience I will ever rent from you again? That I will recommend you to my friends or family. Are you joking?

David HTruck rode REALLPY hard. Seems to need a tune-up. Truck box fish-tailed when empty and driving at moderate (30 mph) sped on county roadways.
ROBIN BThe location was fine. There were trucks available and the person from whom I obtained the key was pleasant. Otherwise, interaction with U-Haul was extremely obtuse, time-consuming, and anxiety provoking. The app, which I have learned from past experience is necessary to complete the transaction at all, SUCKS. It is clunky, unclear, and tracks my location. It took me 30 minutes to check out the truck and another 15 to return it. That is absurd for a major corporation to charge $80 for a POS truck on a 8 hour rental. Why not, upon reservation, provide a clear, brief outline of the necessary steps to obtaining and returning the truck in one simple one-page message to the PAYING CUSTOMER. Perhaps treat them like a human being. I absolutely hate having to do business with U-Haul.
