I get it that it’s the desert but the amount of dust and sand in the back was a bit much. The quality of workers isn’t what I expected from Uhaul. Weren’t too bright. I had to find out the running lights were not working in the trailer. They didn’t catch it. Turns out it was my adapter but I almost drove off. Not a good thing. Safety inspection 101 guys.

We were told that there was a quarter tank of gas, when we first pulled out, that went from a quarter of a tank, to 0 Empty tank right outside the store at the first stoplight the gas light came on....the gas tank level should actually be checked properly cause if it would've been I wouldn't have had to put the extra $20 bill in the gas that I never actually got credit for. And that actually sways my opinion of UHaul, I might be looking for other alternatives next time I need to rent any moving vehicles Lost alot of my respect, and I wasn't able to return it on the side of town I moved to I would've been changed more to return it in another location Uhaul your losing it, like never before. I was double charged for a dolly from 2 different locations. 1 from 6th and Ajo and 1 from 1st and Lester. I'll be calling both stores tomorrow to see how they clear this mess up.

I went 8.9 miles over my estimated 10 miles and uhaul charged me $24.00 more. The miles are .69 A mile. It should have been another $7.00. They can't explain why it's $24.00... Maybe corporate can. If anybody reads these. I would have given a great score other than the scam you have going on.

Overall, this was a Good experience, and one that if the necessity arose, I would certainly repeat. However, there were two issues that I want to address. First of all on the 10' Truck we rented (I don't know how to identify it), the side mirrors need adjustment. The left mirror could be swung in to properly display the edge of the truck itself, but then would resettle out. It would not stay where it was adjusted. The right mirror could not be adjusted at all, constantly showing the side of the truck in at least half of the mirror. These are safety issues which a mechanic can easily correct. The other issue I had was with the on-line site itself. I could not find the address or phone number of the location until I was ready to check out. The "U-Haul Locations" tool is not intuitive, and rather hidden. Now that I LOOK for it, I can see it, but when I was deciding on reserving a truck, it wasn't to be found! Nevertheless, thank you! U-Haul made an unexpected and unpleasant move relatively painless, and the estimate, while realistic, turned out to be a little higher than the actual cost . . . I was NOT expecting that!

I was really disappointed. I’m a single lady this my first time renting from U-Haul and I feel like I was taken advantage of. I wasn’t informed of rates. I was told my fee would be $74 total! When I turned in my rental I was charged $167. I won’t be using U-Haul ever again.

The truck was dirty on the outside, it hadn’t been washed and the windows were covered with bugs and hadn’t been washed. Other than this the truck seem to be well-maintained.

I will no longer recommend Uhaul due to new policy. I reserved a 10ft truck for a move I was doing. When I went in to pick up the truck I was refused to be able to pick up the truck. Not because my bank card was bad, or that I didn't have proper ID. I was told that since I am an orphan and don't have any family and or any "friends" I was willing to let them call as an emergency contact that I could not pick up the truck. I don't give out personal information of anyone I know without written permission. You should understand HIPPA laws and why they were put in place. I as a business man cannot give out personal information of any client. I found out that the "emergency contact" was a lie when he called them to verify me as a person and if they new me what I looked like. I had to ask a random person in the store to be my emergency contact. Honestly what flocking good did that do? I was lied to to aquire information to verify my identity. Better yet it was utterly and completely useless as the person he verified me and my legitimacy knew nothing about me or who I was. It made me wonder if I stole the truck would you go after that random person like they did something wrong? That person didn't know me at all and was as appalled as I that they were doing this. I used to pick up for both personal and professional appointments. Now I will no longer do either. It won't even matter if the policy is changed as I won't be going back to any Uhaul from now on I will never know that I could go back to using it's services. Great Job Guys. I will advise everyone I know the business practices you now collect peoples personal information under.

The gentleman that helped me, made me feel appreciated for the business and made it so much easier to check out with his phone, didn't even have to go in the office.
