Small lot but had a hard time finding the office, which was in the back of the automotive garage. They didn't have any utility / hand trucks (even though I had reserved one) so I had to stop at a nearby storage center to pick one up. They also didn't have any of the bed mattress bags. At the rental location a few minutes away, the manager Jarrett was fantastic! He knew I was there to pick up a hand truck. I had questions and he answered them all and even cleaned the windshield. He was awesome!!

The suspension in truck was absolutely horrible!!! It was almost impossible to drive the truck in urban areas where the freeways are a bit choppy. The shaking was almost unbearable. But what could I do? All my belongings were in the truck and I did not have the time to unload, find another truck, and then load again. One item broke. But I have not opened all my boxes yet. Does U-haul have any processes in place to fully test the equipment to make sure it meets safety standards before being rented? I am still wondering how I avoided an accident. The poor truck suspension made this a VERY bad moving experience for me. The truck performed really well otherwise.

Overall just a slow experience. Was supposed to be a contactless pick up but the lot was chained closed. I got a call 10 minutes later from the lady who was nice but she was running late. Then when she got there the system was messed up and she had to go and completely change my reservation to be accurate. According to her I had two reservations for different trucks at two locations. I don't believe that part was her fault but overall it was just an ok experience. Nothing majorly inconvenient but definitely not the most seamless experience.

I did not expect much when I first entered their compound. But, their trucks and equipment were clean (some were shiny), the lot was organized and orderly, the office warm and inviting. The woman who worked with me during turn-in was knowledgable and treated me very well. Excellent. This is a very nice little neighborhood UHaul.
