I was moving out of a one bedroom apartment and reserved a truck based on the info provided on the website. When the moving crew arrived I learned the truck I received was too small for my belongings. UHaul arranged an emergency upgrade. I did go to the Ballwin site for the upgrade. The staff could not have been nicer or easier to deal with. I will absolutely use UHaul again if a move is needed

It was disconcerting to see that the U-Haul office at this location is not air conditioned, even during a heat advisory. As a customer, this was unpleasant, but I was even more disturbed by the fact that the personnel--who are friendly and helpful--must work in these conditions in the heat of a St. Louis summer. The office did have fans going, but those didn't do much to cool the environment. Furthermore, employees are running in and out of the office attending to customers, quickly working a sweat. If the A/C is broken it should be fixed asap, or a unit should be installed.

I booked a reservation online for 3:30, but email confirmation indicated 5:45 pickup. Arrived at location at 3:30 and no truck available. Left and returned for 5:45 pickup, attendant found no reservation in the system. Attendant lacked customer service etiquette. The on-site manager was called and resolved issue promptly.

There were so many bugs in the truck. Some of them crawled in to our new house. You guys should use bug spray to kill em at least. It's not like they are invisible and the uhaul guy who gave the dolly actually spotted them but didn't care to do anything at that moment.

The vehicles I have rented there are always clean and fairly new. The only reason I didn't give an excellent rating is because the store has an off-putting smell when you walk in.

I will recommend someone because of the Manager Keith White- he knows his work and really cares about customers. But for the employee named llita Willis, I will never recommend anyone to rent from that location. She added insurance coverage to my rental prices without my consent. When I asked her to remove she told me she would not because I accepted it. But my wife is my witness, she told me to push "ACCEPT" on that little electronic screen or scanner: here was it: Customer: What should I do? Employee: push Accept. And on, and on, and on, without any clear explanation to me; so took it that whatever she told me to do was the requirement I need to fulfill before renting the truck. She had no smile on her face at all; busily chewing gum like eating steaks. Yesterday was our second time renting from that site. The first one, the employee was very courteous and with great customer service, but this Willis needs more training on how to communicate with customers. Good customer service will make you stay business. If I go there in the future and she happens to be the only employee around, I would never rent from her. Even my friend is moving out of state to Alabama and was going to rent from a truck but because of the Willis attitude, he said he will go to Lambert Airport to rent a van instead. But overall, the Manager was really nice and I think I am fine with that. So, I will recommend people to rent from there. Thanks.

The only complaint I have is that I was told that you have a policy that if blankets are not folded you get charged. I think that ia really silly. Otherwise, everything was great.

This site seems like a shared & gated parking lot. The lot was not level and had plenty of rough and broken up road material. The office was small and only accommodated 1 client at a time. I had to wait in the non climate controlled lobby.

I just think maybe one more employee might make the whole thing faster and smoother, also an upgrade with the computer equipment at the checkout counter. I waited for 40 minutes even though there ws only two people in line in front of me. One person checked customers out, either ther was a problem with the system or the employee did not know how to use it as the computer kept freezing, then the same employee had to take customers outside to get their truck so it ws a very slow process. I reserved a truck for 3:30 but did not get it until nearly 4:20. I'm not blaming the employee, the process/nd or equipment need to be looked at
