I was charged an additional fee to rent the appliance dolly. I usually pay the 10 dollar fee for this piece of equipment but this location would not let me take the dolly unless I paid a 50 dollar deposit. I talked her down to 25. It was very irregular. She said her manager imposed that charge.
Sarah NNo one was at the location when I went to pick up the truck. No one ever showed up and I had to deal with someone else at the shop who spoke no English. I then had to speak with someone on the phone who apologized for what had happened. When I returned the truck, again there was no one there. I had to leave the truck with a woman, who showed up 15 minutes later who claimed she worked with an affiliated shop. This service was totally unacceptable and not what I expected from U-Haul. Very disappointing.
James FI was charged for a full tank of gas when i picked it up it was empty. Very unfair and annoying.
vahe hI hate to leave bad reviews but this was crazy and incredibly inconveniencing. Moving is already stressful, I scheduled to pick up at 11 and no one showed up until 11:30. The poor lady they had did not know how to sign me in and I was literally helping her check me in. Finally she FaceTimed someone else, and then told me that even though. I rented an appliance dolly they did not have one. That was extremely frustrating as if I reserved one I obviously need it and now where do I find one last minute? Then she never took the charge off and told me they will take it off later. Well they never took the charge off, and while I showed up at 11 I didn’t get out of there until after 12. But after reading the other reviews I’m not surprised. Moving is stressful enough, pick another place to rent from.
