Costumer service at location was good. Unfortunately a piece of plastic from bumper got loose while driving on the highway. Luckily it remained attached to the vehicle. There were signs of damage to this piece in the past and unfortunately was not properly fixed. Hopefully this will be addressed for the next costumer as may have resulted in injury to another driver on the road.

Staff is friendly, quick, and explain everything well to us. The cargo van we rented was the 9' one. It was super new, the mileage is only 850km something. It's super clean, easy to drive. Check-in/out process is smooth too.

Figure out the credit card information online. I was across town unable to pick it up, so I had thought because my visa info was in your system you would just charge that card. We were delayed 2 hours. Your online check in and rental software is also bad, I had a typo that it didn't pick up on for my email. I was not able to "return" the truck online. I had to call. All in all I spoke to 7 uhual people and only one was able to alieve a situation.

The young man who served us is amazing!!! we were at the same location last month and he is the reason we returned. He was polite, explained the entire process and made the exerience at U-Haul flawless. The truck/van we used on both occasions were immaculate and ready when we arrived. We arrived to this location before the store opened. This should have been fine, because we were checking in via the Uhaul app. However, when it came to the point that we took the keys from the key box, they were for the wrong van (A much smaller one). We called the Uhaul head office, and they were incredibly useless and un-caring about our issue. There was a second key box that obviously had the correct keys in it, but Uhaul refused to tell us the code, saying they didn't know it, which I find really hard to believe, since they were the ones who gave us the code for the 1st key box. Instead they told us the only options, were to wait for 1 hour in the pouring rain for the shop owner to arrive, or take the smaller Uhaul, for 1.5 hours only. Given that our journey was going to be 40 minutes one way, this was not an option. The operator on the phone was very insincere, and more than once would just sit there saying nothing, even when I had asked him a question! So given no choice, we waited in the pouring rain outside the store. 9am came and the shop owner still wasn't there. He eventually arrived at 9:15am, and then he took his time starting up the systems, and we eventually got on the road at 9:30am ish, having originally booked for 8am. This caused HUGE inconvenience to our moving day - we had to rush packing our things, and didn't even have time to do everything, because we had to return the vehicle by 4pm. Overall we were really disappointed by the service of both Uhaul as a company and the owner of the store who keeps the Uhauls on his property. when we were on the phone to Uhaul, they told us they would give us a $50 refund - we are yet to receive this.... Don't recommend. We ended up booking a zip car transit van to finish up the move and this suited us much better, and was cheaper! Next time we will not bother with Uhaul!!!!!!

I got this location online. However, there is no signs at the outside of the store. If you don’t enter the store, you never recognize this location! Staff told me that they had a hard time with the city because of parking problems. This gives me worries about whether the store is okay for renting cars. Finally, I rented a cargo truck with no problem. I would suggest that U Haul needs to help the store to solve this problem. Staffs are okay and knowledgeable.

Teach the people representing UHaul who work at this “location”/ghetto convenience store some basic customer service skills. I returned a truck using the app, but mistakenly locked the key in cab. Knowing I messed up, I went into the location to tell them what happened. The guy working there swore at me about it, told me to call a tow truck and pay to open the truck, as it was my fault. I acknowledged that I had made the error, but being back at the location, shouldnt they be able to open it with a spare key, or contact uhaul to find out how we could resolve this? He just said it was my fault, my problem, didn’t want to help at all. He was rude and dismissive. I called uhaul, they said no problem, it happens, made a note in the file, said they would get it open and would contact the location, and thanked me for reporting it when I could have just walked away. Uhaul is great, but I would go to ANY location other than these losers.

Your system send me first to another location that did not have the truck I reserved. THen the only truck available was on the other side of town and 5 hours later. The system also charged me extra for 15 mins delay, after all the struggle. The guys at the location helped me, but still frustrating experience.

Let me start by saying that last year, I rented a UHaul to move from Seattle - Vancouver BC. My requested rental location was changed on me last minute, but the truck was clean and in perfect condition. The people working there were professional, courteous and helpful. Unfortunately, this time, was nothing like my last experience. I made my reservation a month in advance to pick up at a location in North Vancouver ... a true UHaul location that was close to my current and new houses. About a week prior to moving day, I received a call saying the equipment wasn't available and that I would have to go to 26th and Rupert to pick up the truck. When I got there, I found it was an old run down corner store. The truck was filthy, inside and out. And the person there said that not only would be I charged extra miles (outside of my estimate which I had google mapped from the original location) but that if I wanted to drop off the truck at the original location, I would also be charged a one way fee. I told him this was unacceptable as I had made my reservation correctly and it was UHaul that changed it. So he said he would look at having the extra miles dropped but that I would still have to bring it back to that location. When I got back there, after moving all day, there was a different person there that said he had no knowledge of the extra miles being removed and that he didn't know how to deduct it off. After spending 6 hours moving, which is stressful enough as it was, I then had drive way out of the way to return the truck and stand with the person there for 1/2 hour while he stared at his computer not knowing what to do. In the end, I just paid the extra cost because I was too exhausted to stand there anymore and had too many other things to get done that night. Extremely unsatisfied with this rental and service or lack of.

Over charged me on the invoice, Told them I did not want the safe move, because I had coverage from my insurance. Asked for my receipt, they said they will email it to me. I got home and checked the invoice. They added the safe move on, without me knowing it. Very deceitful.
