The only thing I don’t like is not being able to receive an invoice, even from the online system and as an email. If there is a way to complete this, I would appreciate it since it’s needed for tax purposes. Best, Peter Hague

rented the truck on a Sunday and pick up using cell phone was very easy. Truck was clean and did the job with no problems

The road to this location is easy access. But has deep pot holes midway through. Possible negative for next time I need to use a rental truck.

This isn't all against the rental location. First, I tried to do self-service, as it was offered by UHaul and I needed the truck early. After spending 25 min sending photos of myself, my driver's license, and the vehicle and further giving additional contact numbers, I was declined for renting the truck. The last screen said they could not verify me (although I could send a lease agreement, or a military ID) and they just cut me one to talk to--no discussion. I then called the company, and there was nothing they could do. The person I talked to was very nice, but could only suggest to go through the whole process again. Of course, by then the place was supposed to be open (website and hours on their door said they were open at 9:00 am--no other information to the contrary anywhere). About 8:50 am, I thought I would call just to see if maybe someone was inside. Nope...they were actually not coming in for the day and were just "on call." Luckily I called or I would have been there all day. One of the employees came in to rent the truck to me. I was supposed to get the truck at 8:00 am and actually got it at 9:30 am. So much for my early start on a day off! The truck was covered in pine needles, branches, and pollen, but at least it worked. I had scheduled the truck for 8:00 am to noon, and the worker at the location actually asked if I would still have it back by noon, even after a 90 minute delay. I just said something like "really?" Everything else was fine, but the experience was extremely frustrating. Think twice before doing the self-service option...or just make sure you have someone standing by to verify your existence. They never explained that the extra "contact number" was their way of speaking to someone who would verify who you were. My father didn't hear his phone and my wife was working, so I was unverifiable. Of course, you could just give a name and your buddy's number...I guess that is good enough verification (even though it could be easily faked). Be ready to just be told "no" even though they have your credit card number, your driver's license (front and back info) and your current photo. I will be contacting Enterprise, Budget, Penske, and whomever else I can think of next time before even considering UHaul.

The lady was ready for us and made the process extremely easy.
