The location was not an issue. Karrie was most helpful after U-Haul screwed up our order. I have no issues with her. I reserved the truck for Harrisonburg, VA, and received a call asking if I wanted to pick up sooner that the pickup time. I didn't call back because I didn't want to change the time. Two days before pickup, I received a text that I was all set for pickup in Verona, VA. I did not change my reservation location. It was changed without my knowledge and consent. I called to complain and spoke with a scheduler. She apologized and told me there was nothing she could do because Harrisonburg was all taken. She reassured me I would have a truck waiting for me at Verona, but I was FORCED to pick up on Thursday, driving all the way from CT to Verona, to pick up the truck because the location opened too late for my needs. On Thursday, having driven almost 9 hours to Verona, I arrived at the pick-up location, only to find out that was not my truck on the lot since it was reserved for someone else for Friday. I WAS LIVID. Karrie worked with me, calling U-Haul, and telling them I had to have the truck. She worked with me. However, she had to create a new reservation, and by doing so, I was charged $30 ABOVE MY ORIGINAL RESERVATION. To top it all off, the truck had a piece of wood with a nail stuck to the sidewall. They gave me a new tire, and I drove back to Harrisonburg. On Friday, I packed the truck and drove to Richmond. Because of the date change of pick-up, I was forced to hurry up, drive to Richmond, and unload everything as quickly as possible because I had a 5:30 deadline to return the truck. I WILL NEVER RENT FROM U-HAUL AGAIN. I HAD GOTTEN A QUOTE FROM PENSKE FOR DOUBLE THE COST, BUT I WILL TAKE PENSKE EVERY DAY OVER U-HAUL!!!

Had a slight miscommunication with dealer. Dealer fixed the issue immediately.
DANIEL AThe trailer had dirt on the floor, but more than that, they told me to hook up the trailer myself and only pause for a quick picture. Then I was on my way, no paperwork or anything else. Someone had to call me later to do all of that over the phone. I was also not given a drop off location. I had to look that up myself and coordinate that. It worked out, but it was more on me than I have ever experienced before at a UHaul location.
