Waited two hours for the truck. The truck at the location was the wrong one (there was only one truck) no one was at the location. Had to call the customer service line and wait an hour on hold. Found the right truck at another location literally around the corner at the next block. My reservation was changed from an in person pick up to remote, not at my request or knowledge. Was changed to one way, with my permission and was offered a discount. Returned the truck to the one way location. No documentation about it being changed to one way so had further waiting and stress, calls to head office etc. disorganized gong show on an already stressful day of moving.

U-Haul really saved me and got me out of a major inconvenience… I had to suddenly go back home to the West Coast. I currently live in Edmonton but my mother had passed away so my son drove me out to the West Coast but he only stayed for a few days… So after I had gone through my mom‘s apartment and everything I needed just to rent a car to go back to Edmonton… I called for major car companies and not one of them would rent me a car one way but fortunately one of the car companies and I will name them with Avis recommended that I should try U-Haul and I thought that was pretty cool that he recommended that… So I did.… And you Hall saved the day… I was able to get a little pick up truck and us a small cab to get me home. The price was reasonable and I was very grateful because I need to get back home so thank you.

Ryan BI am not rating the location as oppose to rating UHaul in general. I rented a van for less than 3 hours and drove less than 20KM. Why am I being charged nearly $90 ? The advertisement of $19/day is really false advertisement. I will think twice before renting from UHaul again.
