This is not a criticism more of commentary for future rentals. The location and manager was very friendly and helpful. One element to give feedback was regarding the fuel gauge. When I picked up the truck, the levels were SLIGHTLY below three-quarters of a tank but I confirmed over the phone that is was at three quarters assuming the range was acceptable for three quarters. Especially assuming the manager knew the specific levels and the paperwork already had three quarters on it. Before I brought the truck back, I returned the truck to the same level. SLIGHTLY below three-quarters. Then I noticed on the closing documents that I was charged for two gallons of fuel. I am not upset at UHaul or the manager as I suppose I should have been very specific but since the paperwork said three quarters fuel when I picked up I assumed that it was actually known it was slightly below the mark. I will know this for the future to be very, very specific but think it would be good to review and reiterate to future customers. Thanks so much!Richard P.
However. I only used the vehicle to drive 12 miles but the dealer charged me $22 for gasoline.John S.
Courteous and helpful staff!DAVID O.
I was quite surprised to see my bill was $93+ for three hours and 34 miles of use. I understood it to be $29.95 for the day and $1.09 per mile. Not sure why the mileage cost is higher on a Saturday than on a Sunday. Doesn't seem fair. I was not told the gas needed to be refilled as I assumed the mileage charge would cover that. I was also not told about the $14.00 or environmental fee. So what should have been roughly $67.00 was almost $30 more than I expected. Not a good way to do business.KEVIN B.
