Truck was clean. There were repeated warnings to check the brake system, which was concerning. The fuel gauge did not move while filling the tank. Should have been filled to 1/2. But I had to guess. The pump actually ran until it stopped. After I got back to the facility for drop off and was doing the final odometer picture, the gauge finally went up from 1/4 to just above 1/2. How did the pump stop and the gauge showed just over 1/2? Why did it not go up at all until 20 minutes later and after driving it and turning it on and off several times? Clearly the gauge is not working correctly and I overspent on fuel. Back latch was very difficult to close.
