I did the express check out when I reserved online, thinking this would decrease my wait time by 1/2 according to the website.* but when I arrived there to pick the truck up, the clerk (who was very courteous ?) could not pull up my reservation. She made a call to someone to assist her, and in the process read my credit card # including security code out loud over the phone twice. There were two other customers waiting behind me, who I'm sure could hear everything. Other than this issue, I am satisfied with the experience.

We drove 54 miles and I put in 6.3 gals of gas. Even though the fuel gauge read full upon departure the van was obviously not completely fueled. I mentioned this to the return staff they said they could do nothing.

The girl was very rude when I was asking questions she acted like she was racist towards us. She had an attitude the moment we got there and when we returned the truck. She shouldn't work on a place where you need to smile if she's going to be rude to customers

I reserved a pick up truck when I arrived I was told none were available. I was confused as to why there would not be one available especially when I reserved one well in advance. I had to settle for a van which cost more than I was looking to spend. If my reservation was not honored because you didn't properly secure the vehicle I ordered why should I have to pay the difference. I believe I should have been charged the rate of the pick up truck I reserved not the van I was forced to take.

Encourage customers to visually inspect their email address for accuracy on the printout. Returning the truck after hours with a smartphone requires getting a verification key in your email, so if that address is wrong, you won't be able to access the smartphone return process.

Instruct customers on tow/haul transmission setting and how to save gas when NOT towing a trailer or car by disengaging setting at the end of the column shift stick (shift bar). I had to drive back to the Uhaul location to ask about the dangers of driving without disengaging. Response when asked: "it really doesn't make a difference, you don't save that much gas." I preferred to disengage this setting. It makes a difference to the transmission when needing to excelerate quickly to merge onto freeways. (Not a complaint) just a friendly recommendation.
