We weren’t happy because at the last minute the vehicle we reserved was not available and we had to take a 15’ truck instead of a 10’. We were charged for the larger truck. Car rental companies would have charged for what we reserved. Also, when I made the reservation, I opted out of the insurance. When we picked up the truck they added it back on. We ended up being charged $25 more than expected.

Front desk was very hands off. Thank god I knew exactly what I was doing because the woman at the front desk was acting like it’s not her business to answer questions or assist. Brakes on the trailer were inoperable. Lastly, how do you (Uhaul) expect me to be able to lift 90+ LBS trailer onto the truck hitch WHILE backing up my truck? It’s a two person job

David DTook almost an hour to get the rental that I reserved a week prior. When I arrived they didn’t have furniture dollies that I set up and still charged me for one, then only gave me 6 of the 12 blankets. Will definitely be trying the budget rentals down the road next time.
Brian SEquipment was dirty cab and back, cleaner when we returned it! Mileage and gas off from what they suggested we had to document. No one came out to assist, all self service. Upon return system was down and we had to redo checking info multiple times, finally had to call in which they time stamped return. Receipt didn't happen for 24 hrs when check in processed, I guess. Odd experience from what we have previously experienced.
