Give accurate prices for a rentals. Explain that the one time charge is a per day charge for additional equipment. Explain that every charge is is PER day. You should definitely tell people you will charge their multiple times and then tell them to contact their bank that is is a pre authorization that is a lie my card was charged 2 times the same day I rented the truck then a third time when I returned it.

There was a significant delay in picking up my equipment as there was only 1 person at the desk (on a Saturday). The only reason I got out of there after waiting just over an hour is because a neighbor (someone who doesn't even work there) showed up and starting collecting/handing out the equipment for the one person at the desk. I don't recommend using this location.

The employees were very helpful at this location, however... I was NOT impressed with the 26 foot truck that I rented. The brakes on this truck WERE SOOOOO BAD!!!! NOT A SAFE idea for a rental truck. You had to brake at least 8 car lengths ahead of your stop to make sure you didn't rear end the car in front of you. The front end of the truck was shimmying SO BAD. The shocks ... HAHAHAHAHA... WHAT SHOCKS????? That ride of that truck was THE WORST I have ever driven in my entire driving career while using "moving trucks", of which I have used many. I think next time I will go with a different company. Overall, was NOT impressed. The trucks appearance was awful. My kids and I had the biggest sarcastic laugh ever when the add on the side of our moving truck said something about "the smoothest ride in town". That was NOT the smoothest ride in town. I felt like I was in a jump house driving the car at 30 miles an hour. U-Haul should take their fleet of vehicles a bit more serious when it comes to appearance, AND SAFETY. Especially for brakes on a vehicle of that size. Or any size for that matter. It's time to come forward into the new millenium. I felt like I was driving my grandpa's old Chevy truck... ONLY MUCH LONGER. SUPER OUTDATED vehicles. Needs more power in all areas. Windows, Radio, "brakes". Not a happy customer. That's for sure.

First, the rental agreement when we arrived at the pickup location did not match the "agreed to" pricing provided when the truck & trailer were rented. We'll call the representative back that she rented the equipment from and ask for an explanation as why the difference in price. Although it is our responsibility to check everything before we leave U-Haul, there were two things we didn't check: The gas gauge & the lights on the Car Tow trailer. The gas gauge indicated 1/4 tank on the paperwork & when I drove away I noticed the gauge actually read 1/8 of gas left. I still put enough gas in the truck to get to the 1/4 mark when I returned the truck, as I agreed to do. The second item was the lights. After I got the truck & trailer to the location of furniture pickup, my son-in-law advised the left tail light, blinker and brake light were not working. I would suggest U-Haul help the individuals renting their equipment by ensuring everything is working BEFORE renting the equipment. Overall, I was pleased with how the truck & trailer rode & the cab seating was comfortable.

So they took really good care of me. The only hiccup that I had is that the computer kept trying to give me a discount to bring the truck back to SLC instead of one waying it to Tooele. Took 45 minutes to get the truck because lots of calls had to be made because the price would never adjust down to the discount. That isn't on the staff at all that was a promo issue on UHAULs side. Customer service was great!

I needed a Uhaul in Erda where I chose it to be a week ahead of time. I got a call the night before that I would have to drive 60 miles out of my way to pick one up. Horrible.

Very easy to pull into which was important for me. I was able to just pull in and unhook the trailer (didn't have to back it in!) She checked my out from her phone. It took about 5 minutes total. Easy Easy!

The people were friendly. My biggest issue was with the U-Haul computer system. I reserved a trailer that the system said was there, when in reality it wasn't. The equipment that was there did not show up in the system. It took nearly an hour to sort that out. I returned the equipment on-time, but the location did not check it in. I recieved an automated email from U-Haul recovery stating the trailer was missing.

I showed for my 9 am pick up at the location of my reservation and the office was locked up. I called another location to see what I should do and they were great at finding another location with the same truck that I needed. (I was told that the office I was waiting at was closed because of an emergency.) The main cause of my disappointment was having to pay extra mileage because the second location was farther away and they needed the truck returned to the exact same location at the end of the day. I wish I didn't have to pay the extra mileage charged to me because initially the reservation was made for a truck located closer to my home.
