I booked a 15' truck for a 1800km trip. The truck I was assigned would not allow more than $0.75 before fuel filled the fill pipe and shut the pump off. This required adding fuel half a liter at a time. I used approximately $700 of fuel to complete this trip. I estimate this issue added an additional 2 hours of wasted time during fueling. This was a considerable frustration.
Shane HThis location makes you feel from a customers perspective that it’s like a scam. The nail salon that hosts the U-Haul seems like a front for something illegal. They will not take to you about your U-Haul reservation they tell you to go outside and call the number on the sign. Also every thing from that location is tied to a cell phone and they choose to communicate over text. I had to call several times after texting pictures of the truck at return no one was answering the phone. This is a scratchy location I would not return your rental in the dark. At pickup I also had to try 3 trucks before I found one with a key. As I rent from them regularly I know this isn’t normal. This location seems like a scam or a front for something illegal.
Brian RProvide clear instructions on the app about getting the equipment, reason being, I was expecting an open office with staff however that was not the case, it should have stated that you just go find the equipment and do the check in.
