I was not happy that I could not pick up my rental at my original requested location. This gas station is on a busy intersection and is hard to get through with a big truck. Cabin was dirty when I received and gas station attendent was not knowledgeable about the service. I was not pleased that Uhaul would change my pick up location.

I was way over charged picked up the truck at 430pm dropped it off a The next day at 1130 am and had to pay for 2 days. Then I had to pay 15$ cash supposedly for gas when I dropped it off at the same amount of fuel and maybe more than what I got it at.

It was hard to pull out the truck because of the small lot (gas station). A random person stopped to help me. There is no one on site to help with the Uhaul stuff other than the check in.

The truck was dirty. It had Arizona plates on it and I assume it was driven from there and not washed when it got here. It had dead bugs all over the front end and spilled drinks on the cup holder/dash area.

The owner over charged me for the insurance coverage. He charges me $28.00. When I came back to return The truck the kid that was there Told me it was only $14.00. He stated he wasn’t able to refund me, the system would not let him give a refund. When he tried the owner/Art called him and was questioning him on what he was doing. It was very shady and suspicious I felt that the owner was not giving me the correct charges for the truck and the additional fees . I didn’t trust him. I’m upset I was over charged and was not able to get a refund. I would rate this experience a F!

This is the second time I rent a uHaul at this Shell Gas Station. They are very nice, friendly, and honest people and explain everything is good details. I will continue to come to them for UHauls in the future.

Don't put a hold on customers card AFTER everything has gone through and is over with. Also, keeping customer on hold when trying to clear up the charge.

Thoroughly pissed. I informed the lady at the rental location that the truck did not have a quarter of a tank, but less. I wrote this on the contract and she initialed stating that she is aware of the difference as she was aware of the graffitinon the truck and stated that I go a not so good truck because it is local. I paid for the gas with my atm at the gas station location which I can prove I paid for gas and put it exactly where I found it. I was charged $47. Thoroughly disgusted with this and will be filing a formal complain with uhaul and bbb.

A few things about this bugged us. I did the Express checkout so that my husband could just pick up the truck and go, just like you guys advertise. That wasn't the case, my husband had to spend 20 minutes doing everything AGAIN onsite. Probably because you guys switched the location last minute! The truck had broken glass in it from someone else's move. Would have been nice to have it cleaned out before we picked it up. Also, the p/u location changed LAST minute. When you send out a text to confirm, you should put it in bold that the location has changed. When folks are in a moving mentality, they don't have time to re-read a message from you saying the location changed.

The originaly location I went to apparently didn't have my keys ready when I got there. Booked the rental pick up truck the day before at 3pm in the afternoon. After dealing with a uhaul customer service employee with an attitude over the phone, they eventually redirected me to this shell gas station. An honest miscommunication mistake on my part and Robert gives me a horrible attitude. Horrible first experience using the uhaul online service and customer service. Only thing that made up for it was the shell gas station employee who helped me.

Drop off was a bit confusing. We didn't have anything to sign to show that we had turned in all equipment so we simply took a picture of us dropping off the equipment. Everything else was phenomenal service!

When i picked up the truck, the attendant was very nice and informative. We went over everything, he said to make sure i take a picture of the gas, mileage, and the outside of the truck to ensure no damage, which i did. We then went inside he asked me to sign the U-Haul contract which i did, he went over in detail the estimated cost. He then stamped the contract and said initial here, which i did. I used the truck for solely moving furniture and kids toys. The very next day i took the truck back, there was a different attendant who when i first got there, already seemed bothered. i told him i was returning the truck, he said ok, he sat there finishing his texts on his phone then said let’s go outside to take a look. The first thing he did was walk to the back opened the truck and said...you know i’m gonna have to charge you for a cleaning fee? I responded for what? When i went to pick up the truck, the back of the truck was never opened, and the attendant did not mention anything about a cleaning fee. When i returned the truck it was completely empty, there was lost of dust and some white powdery stuff that i don’t even know where that came from, this could have easily been cleaned with a quick sweep. Instead of the attendant offering a broom for me to clean or not even charge me for “dirt” that could have already been there, he became very aggressive and argumentative and said it was my fault because i didn’t read what i was signing. We went back and forth, he was taking his time, stopping to help for other customers in the middle of me trying to finish up my transaction, i had to get back to work. I asked him for my receipt so i can see what he was charging me for, he refused and said he would email it to me...and wouldn’t even tell me the final amount. I had to ask multiple times for a receipt and they only reason why he gave it to me was because another customer walked in. When i asked him to break down the charges he said he was not going to tell me and at this point i should just call U-Haul. i’ve never rented a u-haul truck, i don’t know the protocol of what i should look for. The first attendant went over everything in detail, had me take pictures of everything, why didn’t he say anything about the cleaning fee if the truck was returned dirty, in which it wasn’t. the first attendant was helpful, so i thought. The second attendant was very rude, disrespectful, and it was obvious he was bothered by the fact that he was dealing with a female. Instead of trying to work on a solution, he kept arguing and saying it wasn’t his fault, he’s just doing his job.

Maybe after accepting someone's credit card for confirmation you might want to let people know that pre-paid cards are not acceptable to rent equipment or trucks. If it says that somewhere & I didn't see it I apologize but if not it might be appreciated to do so my plans & my helpers would have had a bad day if I didn't have a extra credit card on hand.
