Was confused with self service check in and staff did not want to help. I had some questions and every time I called I was out on hold. The last time I called I said do not put me on hold and they hung up on me. Will never use uhaul again.

While I have no complaints about this location, I'm very unhappy about my overall experience with Uhaul. I reserved a 10' truck 5 days ago for pickup at 10:00am on Sat 6/24. I received both an email and text confirmation. The night before I received a call confirming the time and location for pickup which was the 8300 Ridge Ave location. However, just mins before my arrival to pick up the truck I received a text message stating the truck would not be available until 4pm at a different location about 20 mins away at the Lehigh Ave location. This was a major inconvenience! Since I was already near the Ridge Ave location I went there to find out what was going on. I was told that location was overbooked and they had nothing available but trailers which didn't help me. I hired movers for 10am who were being paid by the hour and today was the only day I could arrange the move. I called the scheduling desk and was told the entire city of Philadelphia was sold out until late in the afternoon so I had to drive 30 miles to Wilmington, DE and pay an enormous fee for milage just to get this done today. Smh! What a miserable experience!!!!

Return deposits as direct debit back into the account from which funds were obtained. It was explained to me that only actual charges would be taken from my account. But, upon reservation, the full amount for 'estimated charges' was deducted from my bank account. Upon returning the rental, it was explained that the difference between actual charges and estimated charges wouldn't be reflected in my bank account for another 3-5 business days. So ultimately uhaul has charged me for an estimated cost, kept their portion for payment , and I am left waiting to receive my change until next week. Yet , had I been able to make a cash deposit for the vehicle , I would have my cash returned immediately and only charged for my actual use of the rented vehicle. How is it that Uhaul cannot simply process my refund as a debit transaction the same as the company accepted payment as a debit transaction?! This is a very poor business practice to leave customers' money tied up in banking limbo , meanwhile every customer service representative simply says "there's nothing we can do about it..."

Make sure whoever inspects your vehicles correctly reports if there is any damage. The sun visor was placed in between the driver and passenger seats on the floor when I got into the truck.

Pay attention to your customers and only charge the card once. Mistakes happen when they do fix them same day or compusate with the customer. Do something it took a week just get my money back and gave me around until I had to put my banker on the phone !

I have rented from this location numerous times..never had an issue. This time I was charge an excess of $60 for gas. The truck was brought back with the gas it went out with 1/4 tank. Why would I risk 60 for a measly 10-15 dollars for gas and It took 2 days for me to get a final bill...when I spoke with the manager Alicia her attitude was oh well...she was made aware that I will be disputing the charges.and then charged a late fee. This is ridiculous I am disappointed...
