all was very good. truck, price.. the only thing is that I got the truck late. it's not your fault, the other guy was late. I had a tight schedule.

First, the fuel return policy is misleading. I was verbally told to return the truck with 3/4 of a tank of gas. We followed those instructions exactly according to the truck's fuel gauge. However, upon returning it, I was informed that an internal tracker measures the exact fuel percentage, and because we were supposedly just below their hidden metric, I was charged an additional $16. Telling customers to rely on a visual gauge ("3/4 full") while secretly holding them to a precise digital sensor feels like playing with words and numbers to tack on hidden fees. If precision is required, the policy should simply be a full tank to full tank rather than playing mind games with vague estimates. Second, equipment reliability was poor. I was assured ahead of time that there would "99% for sure" be a trolley available for my move, but when I arrived, there were none. This caused unnecessary delay and effort during an already stressful day. Additionally the truck was in poor condition and dirty. Between the unfulfilled equipment promises and the deceptive fuel charge, this experience fell far below expectations. I believe some form of compensation or credit is warranted to address these issues and restore my confidence in using U-Haul again.
