I needed someone to unload the 20' truck that my sister drove me and my things back to Kansas City from Florida. I could not find a rental within the week to move into, show it all had to be loaded into a storage unit. I can't remember the names of both but Michael was the main one. They were both great and Michael, in particular. The lady despatcher was also great. I think her name was Nayisha.

They were very efficient and took very good care of the house and furniture. I would highly recommend them.

I am disabled, and Hometown Haulers was a god send. They arrived on time and had my 3 bedroom home loaded in only an hour and a half and unloaded in my new house in just over 30 minutes. Done in 2 and a half hours including the 30 minute commute to the new home. Thank you Hometown Haulers!

Jarrod and his crew were great. My job was to load items from my storage into a U-Haul truck. The guys worked like a machine, each doing one aspect of the job, working together. They were fast, but very careful with my property, packed the items tightly so that nothing was damaged, and used up every inch of that truck. I highly recommend Jarrod and his crew.

They were amazing and completed and finished the job which was extremely challenging because I lived on the third floor. They were enthusiastic, patient and encouraging, even when I was feeling exhausted and discouraged by how much work there was.

The Guys were accommodating (I called to see if I could do the move a day earlier, which they happily rescheduled!), and terrific. Highly recommend!

This company is beyond accommodating! I needed last-minute help unloading and booked them 24 hours before my move. I arrived at my destination earlier than expected, and this company had movers on stand-by for this reason. Milton and Eon got the job done quickly! I plan to use this company again and highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing!! Anthony and Jacoby were heroes! Despite the hot weather they moved quickly and maintained high spirits. I've never seen anybody pack a truck as skillfully as they did, it was completely filled from front-to-back, top-to-bottom. I hope I won't have to move again for a while, but when I do I will go out of my way to hire them again.

Isa and his team at Tetris Masters are absolutely fantastic at their job! The fact they were able fit an almost full 15’ truck of heavy large steel sculptures, numerous boxes of art supplies and fragile glass sculptures into an already very full 5’ x 10’ storage unit is beyond my comprehension. I didn’t think it could be done in the 3 hours I had booked, but they rearranged everything and made it all fit with room to spare. They are in fact Tetris masters! Not only are they very capable at their craft but they are extremely polite, professional, and very respectful of all of my needs for things to be handled with care and packed a certain way. This move was not an easy one and they were able to accomplish the impossible. This was hands down the best moving company I have ever used and will 100 percent be using them again for every move in my future. Thank you so much guys, you are a dream!

The reason for the low reviews was that both crew members were late and I had to reach out for an eta. Jeff was great. He jumped right in and was the type of person you would want working your job. Jay on the other hand was late and preoccupied with being right, dealing with his car, or making comments about how I look. Don't get me wrong he did work but I was frustrated when I got in the truck and realized how poorly it was packed. There was breakable items that we identified that we found under multiple boxes. I would consider using this company again but I would ask for Jeff and not for Jay.

They showed up 25 mins late, they had all of my belongings out in the hall way, belongings in the elevator rooms (two different rooms of 2 different floors), things sitting outside with nothing being put in the truck. After an hour I finally went downstairs and saw everything everywhere and when I said we needed to pick up the pace and get things in the truck, I was met with a comment of ‘oh he’s cracking the whip, we better move faster’. When the truck was packed finally, they left before I did and still somehow I beat them to the address by 10 mins. I was driving a 20ft loaded down U-Haul, so I definitely didn’t speed and did not use tolls. Then the older man did not want to get off the back of the truck and actually bring anything into the new apartment. I had to ask 6 different times for him to get out of the back of the truck and let someone else push things to the back of the truck. Absolute worst experience I’ve had with movers and I use them each time I move.

Such a great team of movers! I was able to find them when my move-in date was bumped up unexpectedly, and they made my entire move-out in process seamless. They bring their own equipment making the process efficient, and offered to extend my time with we experienced difficulty delay with the elevators inside my building. The extra time certainly made a difference, and the flexibility helped a ton!

The day before our move, they called and told us that they couldn’t make it, but did not leave a voicemail and then sent a text which I missed. So we didn’t have them show up. When I called, they explained they couldn’t make it and did try to call. However, they scrambled and was able to get someone out there much later in the day and did a great job. So one snafu, but overall, they did great.

Tyler, the owner, personally called me a few times before the move to confirm and strategize our packing day. He arrived with an associate on time, and even delayed an hour for me until it stopped raining. The move was all packing, with four separate groups of items, mostly antique furniture. He wrapped and taped everything very well, and strapped everything securely. I have waited to give this review until everything was unloaded in four locations over 650 miles, including Brooklyn. The delicate a china cabinet, glass table, grandfather clock, piano, and everything else was in perfect condition and I am very satisfied. I liked working with Tyler; he was very accommodating and instilled confidence that the journey in a 20 foot truck would go well. I wish him success in his business!

This review is for the piano addition part of our truck load-in, which is reviewed elsewhere. Tyler and his associate were very accommodating in putting our piano on a special dolly, wrapping and taping it, ratchet strapping it to the dolly, and securing it in the truck. I am reviewing this after the piano arrived safely after a 500 mile trip; everything was fine. Nice job Tetris Kings!

The crew was 40 minutes late then did not pack the truck well to prevent shifting. In over 30 corporate and military moves I have never had to file a claim. Now I do. AND, because they didn’t pack it correctly, I have to RETURN to Michigan to rent a tow trailer for my furniture and drive to the east coast. This is unacceptable and unbelievably irresponsible and unprofessional behavior. It’s going to cost me an extra $1200 because of their lack of knowledge.

I highly recommend this company. They communicated very well and were very careful with our furniture, etc. Worked quickly and professionally, and were extremely polite throughout. We just unloaded with in a different state - no damage whatsoever and the unloading crew even commented on how well the truck was loaded and the furniture wrapped and protected.

I had the best overall experience with Acme Moving TX. They are awesome! The professionalism and clear communication started with Brighid. She answered all my questions and concerns and explained what to expect. The movers, Jason and Miguel, were friendly and courteous and didn't waste time. They were careful with my items and packed the truck like nothing I've ever seen. A work of art. This was such a refreshing experience. Most importantly, it was clear that all parties take their jobs seriously and enjoy what they do. I would recommend them every time.

We booked a different company with MovingHelp 2 months in advance, but 5 days before our move, that company never replied to my confirmation message. MovingHelp then connected us to SmoothMoves who arrived on time and began loading immediately from our 3rd floor apartment. A hard-working team of husband and wife took care of everything without stopping for breaks. We had cold bottled water and soda at hand as they went by. Our U-Haul truck was loaded and ready for my husband to beat afternoon traffic up through the city for the trip crossing 3 states and 2 days. The truck was packed very securely, and everything arrived in great condition. I tipped generously in cash and included extra for their lunch. Thank you SmoothMoves and your colleagues at Hall-Away-Moving!

The gentleman were really good and I was shocked that it was loaded that fast and I even got a refund of what money wasn't used for the booking time. My first delivery went so well with Elite Moving and Cleaning Service, I hired them right away for my second delivery. Again Jamal was super communicative and even helped clear up & reschedule for an earlier delivery (on a Friday afternoon!) of my boxes after a minor mishap with the local Uhaul shop... even Sherri (the Uhaul coordinator) commented on the awesomeness of Jamal's consistent follow up to make sure everyone was kept in the loop. Company had called earlier in week confirming appointment. They arrived 15 minutes late and I get text prior asking for $20 gas money since further out of town then they thought. The two guys worked hard but discovered numerous scratches to furniture due rough treatment. I would not use them for moving again.

I am hiring We Move in the future and have already referred them. They were fast, professional, friendly, knowledgeable, reliable, respectful. And so responsive. I forewarned them about the horrible loaders I had and the shifting. They understood and helped me with pictures and care for my property for the claim. Everyone was extremely supportive and helpful during my move. I am very grateful for the crew. I’m even hiring them to move stuff around again so I can deep clean. I don’t want to scratch my floors or damage my furniture. They are very professional.

Our experience with Vernon during our move was unsatisfactory. We were already stressed out with our moving process and he added more to our stress. First, by complaining that we should add more hours. Then, stating we have too much truck. He kept commenting on things that did not matter. He wasted so much space inside of the truck. We actually ran out of room and had to rearrange after they left so we could fit all our items. Overall, all we heard from him was complaints. Not a good experience with him at all.

They ended up being 6 hours later than they said they would be because they took an additional job before mine that went very long.

The guys were fast, careful, and very courteous. Even though the furniture had to go up one or two flights of stairs, they work tirelessly until finished. Afterwards they helped clean up and close the truck. Tip was provided in cash at time of service.

The guys did one of the best packing jobs that I've ever seen. They loaded items precisely and corded each section off to ensure no movement during transit. They helped with the car tow, both unloading and disconnecting as well as loading and connecting. I would highly recommend this group. Tip was provided in cash at time of service.

The movers were on time, helpful and communicative. They helped with breaking down furniture and loading my uboxes with space in case there were any last minute items we needed to put in after they left. They worked pretty independently but checked in often with questions, letting me know where they were storing remotes, nails, etc. My 1BR took a little over an hour as they were very efficient.

Horrible experience. They arrived 3.5 hours after scheduled time, only used 2 of 12 moving blankets, damaged several pieces of furniture. Scratches, gouges, poked a hole in an upholstered chair. Unable to contact the company with several call attempts due to a full mailbox. Very unprofessional, do not recommend

DO NOT USE THIS MOVER, They damaged a brand new dresser never used that was for the new house. The mover took pictures of the damage they did while at house. We purchased the insurance and the mover claimed that they knew nothing about it and we didn't supply moving blankets when we purchased them through UHAUL and handed them to them. WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE INSURANCE IF UHAUL IS GOING TO ALLOW THE MOVER TO LIE AND NOT COVER THE CLAIM!! BETTER OFF GETTING A MOVER YOU KNOW.

Hired these 2 gentlemen to move myself and my children out of a 5 bedroom home. They filled a 26ft Uhaul truck to the roof! They handled all my items with delicacy and very carefully moved the heavy items out of the house with utmost attention and caution, and the same for the new home we moved into. Hired them for 6 hours of work, and they completed everything in under 4.5 hours. Fantastic job and will absolutely hire them again. Thank you! Gagnon Family

Both of the guys that came were courteous, treated every box delicately and safely, but were super time efficient and had the truck packed in no time! They made sure to ask and be extra careful with delicates and took notice of the labels. Stacked the truck like experts and the communication leading to the move was excellent. The crew arrived on time and worked very quickly while they were moving our stuff, too quickly. We hired and paid for 3 workers for 4 hours, and all 3 workers did arrive as scheduled. However, they only worked approximately 2 hours and did not report the reduced time to U-Haul, so we were not reimbursed for the unused hours. I mentioned to the guys that I paid for 4 hours when I gave them the code and they acknowledged that. I thought I would be refunded. Never assume While I appreciated their prompt arrival and efficiency, I was very disappointed by the lack of communication and the billing issue. I would recommend customers carefully verify the hours worked and contact U-Haul before paying for the job. We paid them a nice tip too. We are very disappointed.

An hour before they were to come they messaged they had other jobs and they were going to be 2 hours late. They came 4.5 HOURS LATER ! Whole day wasted waiting!

They are scammers. I paid for a two-hour, one-bedroom move, but they took an extra 30 minutes because they dawdled in the bathroom, took multiple breaks, and stopped to eat. They did everything they could to drag things out. I had paid 105 for the two hours, yet those thieves tried to charge me a 100 tip for the extra 30 minutes. In the end, I paid an additional 80 after haggling. Furthermore, I had scheduled a specific time slot three weeks in advance, but they showed up two hours late. And I had to handle many things on my own to avoid being charged extra. SCAMMERS!

One mover was 100 percent great and the other was pretty useless.
