Does U-Haul Have Full-Service Movers?
Are you wondering whether U-Haul offers full-service movers? Although U-Haul doesn’t have traditional full-service moving options, we offer a variety of moving solutions that, when combined, can give you a hands-off, hybrid move at a fraction of the cost.
What is a Hybrid Move?
A hybrid move is the happy medium between a DIY move and a full-service move. You get the best of both worlds — the affordability and control of doing some things yourself, with the convenience of having some help with the heavy lifting. With this type of move, you rent a truck from U-Haul and hire local Moving Helpers to help with loading and unloading. All you have to do is drive.
How a U-Haul Hybrid Move Works
1. Rent a Moving Truck
U-Haul has the largest fleet and more than 23,000 locations across North America. No matter where you’re headed, you’re sure to find a neighborhood U-Haul nearby.
2. Hire Labor-Only Movers
Find local moving labor near you on the Moving Help® Marketplace. Easily compare rates, reviews, and services offered to find the help you need.
3. Select Your Moving Services
In addition to loading and unloading, some Moving Helpers provide moving services like house cleaning, piano moving, gun safe moving, and more.
4. Purchase Moving Supplies
Helpers don’t provide moving supplies, so be sure to pick some up before moving day. Use our Moving Supplies Calculator to create a list of supplies needed.
5. Move Stress-Free
Your helpers will load your moving truck quickly and efficiently. All you have to do is drive to your destination, where your chosen helpers will unload everything for you.
Why Choose a Hybrid Move from U-Haul Moving Help?

- Stay in Control — Since you’re in charge of packing and driving, you’re in control of the safety of your belongings.
