SafeTrip: Supplemental Roadside Protection

All U-Haul rentals include roadside assistance, and SafeTrip is an additional low-cost option that can help cover certain service calls for your U-Haul rental equipment, including:

• Lockout Services
• Lost Keys
• Fuel Services (up to three gallons)
• Stuck in mud or snow
• Trailer/towing Hookup Assistance
• Jump Starts

SafeTrip can be added online or in the U-Haul app any time before picking up your equipment. If you declined coverage at pickup, you may return to the U-Haul pickup location within 30 minutes to add coverage to your rental agreement.

Safehaul: Coverage for One-Way U-Box Container Shipping

Safehaul protects your belongings from damage or loss when being shipped one way.  Coverage begins when the shipping company picks up your loaded container from the U-Haul facility and ends when it has been delivered to the destination U-Haul facility. It does not cover your containers at your residence or drop-off location.

Safestor: Stored Belongings at a Secure U-Haul Facility

Safestor is a no-deductible option that protects stored belongings while in a self-storage unit or a stored U-Box container at a secure U-Haul facility. This low-cost insurance covers the loss or damage of your items from incidents like:

• Natural Disasters (e.g., fire, earthquake, floods)
• Leaking Water
• Vermin

Safeload: Belongings Packed and Moved by Moving Help

Safeload is an optional coverage plan available through the Moving Help Marketplace when you hire a top-performing Service Provider. It offers added protection for your belongings during the loading, unloading, packing, or unpacking process, helping cover damages caused by improper handling. Safeload covers the loading process of your move through:

• Personal property (cargo) during the loading and unloading process
• Damage caused by improper handling while items arewhile items are being loaded, unloaded, packed or unpacked
• Coverage options ranging from $500 to $5,000
• A low $100 deductible
• Coverage subject to exclusions
