Representative was completely unable to communicate in English. It got so bad and the representative seemed so confused, he attempted to hand me his phone so I could type out what I was saying in his translating app. So I switched to French but the service wasn’t that much better: he pull d out a map, pointed out two doors numbered 5 and 6 on the map, didn’t explain how to even get there, and then highlighted a path from those door to the locker. Luckily, between myself and my movers, we found the entrance and the locker by ourselves and received no further help or guidance. Compared to the online experience, I was expecting much better in-person service.

Minutes sans réponse je me suis déplacé le 17 pour payer ma facture mes les systèmes était en panne donc je me suis repris par téléphone le 18 payer par téléphone mes c était un trop payé pour janvier ont m a mentionné qu’il ne pouvait pas rembourser par téléphone donc le 19 je me suis déplacé à nouveau et une gentille dame m’a tout arrangé le tous voilà pourquoi je fais le commentaire je ne dis pas que je ne ferai jamais affaire avec vous mais juste pour que votre service à la clientèle n en souffre pas trop

Michele F | Overall ExperienceThis is my first experience using uhaul storage on 266 266 Rue Saint-Louis, Gatineau. Im gonna be honest, its not going great. Renting a unit was the easy part. Everything since then has been painful. When I had issues not knowing how to use my code I tried the intercom on the boxes outside and inside for assistance. No answer. The hours of operation and access you have to your unit ARE NOT THE SAME. It is not 24/7 access. You must pay an additional fee to access a unit you already pay for after "buisness hours". So if you show up with items you want to drop off when the building is closed your out of luck. I called to clarify this and was carrying around large items in my vehicle for an extra day. Absolutely needing to drop them off the next day, I was reassured by the agent I spoke to, who knew my unit was inside, that the location closes at 10pm so I have lots of time! Perfect. I show up at 8pm. Doors locked. Hours of operation are until 7pm not 10 pm. I call again, maybe I can pay for the after hours access since I'm here and HAVE to drop off these items. NOPE. That's only something I can do at the office while they're OPEN. No other solutions. By the way the GATES are open until 10pm, not the building. How does this help me? To say I'm frustrated is an understatement. Information is not clear or communicated well. Its been more frustrating then easy. Building cleanliness 10/10 Unit: 10/10 Customer support: 1/10 Rules and regulations communication: 0/10 Convenience: 1/10
