Here’s a clearer, more professional version of your review while keeping your main points and tone intact: --- I was unavailable when the facility initially tried to contact me. As soon as I returned, I learned that my storage unit was being prepared for auction. I immediately made an effort to resolve the issue and pay my balance on the date provided. On the 21st, I called the facility and spoke with a young woman who took my credit card information and assured me that my payment was processed and that my account was in good standing. However, my card was never actually charged. When I later checked, my unit had been auctioned and all of my belongings were gone. I experienced issues with the online payment system that same day, which is why I called directly. On the 24th, I contacted the facility again to speak with a manager or GM. During that conversation, I was treated very disrespectfully. I explained that I had called on the 21st and attempted to make a payment, but I was told there was no record of my call. I requested that they review their recorded phone calls from that date, since I know the conversation took place. I even showed my phone logs, which confirm that I spoke with someone named Jan for four minutes, during which time she confirmed my payment was taken care of. Despite this, the manager refused to investigate further and dismissed my concerns simply because there was no internal note. Instead of helping resolve the situation, the GM escalated things unnecessarily and even attempted to call the police when I asked for a proper review of the phone records. I left feeling unheard and completely disrespected. This situation could have been handled with a basic investigation before auctioning off my belongings. I made a clear effort to pay, and I was told my account was in good standing. Given this experience, I would not recommend this facility. I believe they should either compensate me for my lost items or take responsibility for what happened. --- If you want, I can also make a shorter, more punchy version for something like Google Reviews.

The building itself is clean, secure, and well-lit, but more important the U-Haul employees are knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful--and patient, too, as I learned when I accidentally neglected to shut my storage unit door properly. Five stars all around, no complaints at all.
