Van was received dirty and smelled like urine. When I asked to switch vans I was told the other vans were reserved. When we returned the van and said it needed to be cleaned we were charged the cleaning fee. The regional agent never returned our call. Customer service took over a half hour to reach an agent. And you ask: â€œwhat can we do to improve for the next customer?â€ I think: â€œa lotâ€.Jeremy M.
The van was disgusting, dusty, beer can under the seat, smelled like beer and Liquor. Sticky coffee spots and air conditioner not working in van. Would never rent from this location again.SUJEILY R.

I had a much better experience with U-Haul at one of their actual branches in Jersey. I would not rent a truck from this location again. The 10 ft truck that we were guaranteed to be available was nowhere to be found at our scheduled pick up time. Instead, we got a smaller cargo van. The good news is that U-Haul makes good on its $50 refund policy. The issues did not end there. We returned the cargo van to the employee at the desk on January 31 at 10:35 pm. However, the app said that the van was still use until February 4 (nearly a week later). It's been a headache to call U-Haul and receive calls from U-Haul ever so often throughout the week just to make sure we didn't get charged extra. At one point, we were asked by the location's management through a U-Haul representative if we really did return the van to the right location. What a load of nonsense. Thankfully, the whole ordeal is over now, but we had much better luck at an actual U-Haul branch.Eric K.

The vehicle's mirror was damaged on the left side which made it difficult and dangerous to drive. When we returned the vehicle the worker filled up the tank completely, instead of the 1/2 tank that was required which I was charged $38.60Nashan W.

The representative gave me the keys to the vehicle without inspecting or asking if I needed additional services. When I asked the rep, what's the mileage, gas or what you are charging he stated he is sending it to my email. His printer did not print and he does not provide a receipt or contract. I immediately called customer service to figure out what I'm being charged. I went back to location and dispute. He stated that he will refund me at the end of day. I have not received any refund and now disputing this with the call center. I was very dissatisfied, unprofessional with the service. No respect or empathy in solving the issue which generated from his lack of professionalism, his duty and following up. Never will I go or deal with this location... disgustingCynthia M.

the truck had animal hairs all over the passenger side of the cab I called uhaul and told them when I noticed it about 2pm the day I picked it up (cuz I went to put the ez pass in the cab from the passenger side) upon return there was a slight to do about us having to clean the cab.
