We scheduled a 9am pickup. We were told the evening before that we couldn't pick up until 12:30 p.m. Then we got there, and the uhaul we reserved was not there. We had to wait an hour, and then we were told that we needed to drive 30 minutes away to get another uhaul. This put us six hours behind schedule, which caused chaos in our day. We have a child that needed to be watched so we could pack. We had family who changed their schedules to help us. The inconvenience from uhaul scheduling made our moving experience miserable.Samantha B.

this vehicle was returned the next day after noon an i got billed for 3 days. last time i made this trip it cost me 350 from a uhaul plave down the road. the miler on the were 300 somthing more then what the website and it went to next page without letting me say anything. my girlfriend and son witnessed it.matthew T.
The truck was not ready at location and time specified, truck was not free of snow, operators insisted that we clean off our own vehicle, Tires on vehicle did not have sufficient tread to safely transport driver and contents to locations, made an already stressful moving experience exponentially worse. Afterwards Spent 30 mins on hold with customer service who couldn't even find my order after trying to sort out the entire mess and explain that we were not even contacted about the change in pickup location. This made a horribly stressful time so much worse than it should have been. And nothing actually got resolved, no follow up phone call, no email, nothing. There is no reason that purchasing a service, in use of a rental vehicle, should have been this horrible of an experience.Benjamin S.

I made my reservation 9/8 28208025 for 9/30 and it was cancelled less than 24 hours before I needed my van. I then had to make a new reservation and drive three hours to get the reservation in a town far removed from my location with reservation #28996213 - all they gave me was the extra mileage - I had to spend gas on the truck to bring it back and gas and a ride there and back in excess of $1,000 to get this reservation. But coronavirus right? I expect a manager to call me backAsaf R.

Clean the uhaul truck. It was filled with garbage. Open up at the time of my reservation. I was reserved for 9, and no one came til 10am. My whole day was off schedule, Very dissatisfied with my rental!Allen R.
They lied about pricing, insurance charge, mileage on vehicle when returned, the truck was damaged, dirty, and smelled like smoke of cigarettes and pot when I picked it up. I've had one before with the same distance and if was $79 now I got charged $221 total?!Brandon F.
After I got home from my 1.5 hour trip the helper showed me my hitch wasn't tightened. The mechanic at pottsville never tightened it after switching it from the 15' truck for me. One bad bump and I could've lost my car or worse. Aside from this the personnel was phanominal and I'd use them again if I'd ever use u-haul again (undecided).BROCK A.

The owner was accommodating & stayed late so I could pick up the rental truck. Made renting go a lot easier. Only issue I experienced was the truck had no emergency brake. Otherwise was a good experience. It didn't create a problem since I carried two blocks of wood to put under the rear tires.Robert M.
Truck back was dirty and damage to truck that wasn't noticed. Plus saying wrong gas was in truck . Also billed me twice because truck I was suppose to get as I went to grab he gave the truck to another guy. Then made me pay again for second truck then issued a refund for 1st truck . Trailer door wouldn't open more than 1.5ft so it was extremely hard to load and unload. Didn't have time to swap the trailer out before my scheduled move and had to make do with it. Trailer shouldn't have been rented with door not working.Jonathan M.

Smelled like smoke, overcharged, 2 charges on the account, vehicle NOT maintained. Paperwork lied on. The whole experience was a mess. On top of being charged nearly $400 for $240 is the fact that the regional manager isn't explaining how I have nearly $400 in charges, hes only concerned with the poor performance. As far as I'm concerned, I wont be coming back and ill be letting all friends know to go to a competitor.Joseph B.
