If you rent uhaul equipment, either have the add on equipment to rent or purchase. For example the connection from the truck to the trailer, that controls the running lights on the trailer. This is an important add on that should be on hand when you rent the vehicle! With out this peice, it could lead to some serious accidents.

It was a Sunday drop off while the business was closed. There were several cars sitting around all over the place that appeared to be in various stages or repair. The place appeared dirty and unsafe.

The location was not as much the problem. I had reserved at a location near me. When I went to get it they stated they did not have a truck as the previous customer had not returned it. Was told no other trucks were available in the area. Spent over 10 minutes on the phone and was able to get smaller truck. Ended up only paying $8 less and it did not have blankets i ordered. I can understand that sometimes trucks do not get returned but I should have had discounted rate given the hassle and delay in receiving the truck. In addition had to drive further. Next time will use another company.

The location and the dealer were great. I don't like the fact that I had reserved a 15 footer at another location (mcnabbs) and it was unavailable so they transferred me to this location and offered me a 10 footer. They didn't mention that the 10' footer didn't have a ramp. Needless to say it was extremely uncomfortable and difficult to move items into the truck.

Need to inspect trucks when they are returned. The truck that was given to me was infested with roaches! So disgusting. I am so disappointed

The cab was full of dog hair. The check engine light was on and I was told it was nothing to worry about. The truck ran fine but it wasn't a great way to start my trip. The gentleman who helped me was nice but the truck needs to be better maintained.

For those that need an earlier pick up time, this location doesn't work. They don't open until 10 am. Sometimes this is too late.

When I dropped off the truck a man in a wheelchair came up to the desk and asked if I was dropping off to which I replied "yes sir and I chose to have a utility dolly added to my rental and when I got the truck to my house I noticed it wasn't in the back, can the charge for that be removed please." ... He told me that the gentleman working was on a quick break but when he returns and checks in the truck he would have it removed. Well I got my receipt and I was still charged for the dolly.

I have used U-Haul many times and I just think this experience was not the best. On the website it said I would be charged .89 cents per mile and on the contract it jumped up to $1.39 per mile. It is my mistake for not catching it sooner but they failed to go over it field on the paperwork. In the past they had down that.

Receipt #82906085 The rental period was for one day but I was charged for 2. I only needed the van for Sat. but because the store hours were only 10-2, I was told I could pick it up Fri evening and return anytime by Sunday p.m. Please issue credit for one day. The mileage on the truck was wrong compared to what they had printed on the sheet. The start Mileage was actually 5659 not 5654. I asked the man to redue the contract and stated that he would deduct the mileage on the van before I left the center and was never done. No one told me I needed a sleeve and ball before i picked up trailer. I lost two hours on the contracted time to go buy one. Clerk "Mike" was clearly bothered by the questions i had for him including checking tire pressure. The back door did not seal correctly and unit leaked when we encountered rain. Many personal items were soaked. When I contacted u-haul I was given 2 locations to swap out trailer but they were out of my way so we decided to continue on. My newest reservation has been wrong on date and size. I will be calling u-haul later today.

The pick up location was changed the day before pick up. I lost 1 hour because they open later than the location I requested. My reservation was for 2 days and it was changed to one day on the receipt without any notification to me.

I'll recommend with reservations. The mechanics were super nice and the right equipment was there and everything but the lateness of the manager. No good. If you don't have a deadline or time isn't a concern this location is perfectly fine, but if time is essential to you-then no.

I waited over 20 minutes for service. They did not have the furniture dolly I requested in my online reservation.

I felt you could have charged me less that 2 full days just because I brought it back an hour or so late. I wouldn't have objected to a penalty but a whole day. I actually only used the truck for 4 hours which I realize wasn't Uhaul's fault. There was just no way to reserve it any other way than it was. And I only drove it 17 or 18 miles. It was one local trip to my new residence from my old residence and then back to the rental office. $$64 for just that. Had I actually kept the truck over night and was able to take one more load down it would cost me another $16 for mileage on top of it. I just think it's alot. As for the company, I thought they did a good job. The boss told me he wasn't sure what the hold was and that when I went in to settle up the bill he said the hold should come off and they will only charge the $64 and the difference should be takin off hold instantly. I dont even see the charge on there now. I hope something didnt bounce because there should be enough funds.

I was told since my scheduled reservation pick up was not available I would be given ten free miles on the phone to accommodate the inconvenience of extra drive time added. They were not included. I was also told after the thirty miles plus ten free miles every additional mile would be at forty cents per mile. They were not, my bill shows all miles at $1.39/mile. The truck smelled like stale cigars and had ashes everywhere and the back was filled worh dirt which I had to clean out so my belongs would not get dirty. I couldn't take the smell nor did I want to be charged for leaving the truck dirty. I am very dissatisfied with this overall experience and will not recommend your companies services. They had no notes in my account either when I picked up the truck for the move about any the rates not did they tell me until I got there that it would be an additional fee if I dropped the truck off in Phoenixville even after asking. I was told on the phone however that by bring the truck back to the general area I would only be paying $.40/mile that was incorrect. It appears there is no communication at your company.
