Every person that helped me was great but the online check in was a nightmare. They kept changing locations after I got to the location and then when returning the rental U Haul charged me for going over the mileage limit which I wouldn't have done had they continuously changed the location for pick up and drop off. What's up with that!!! There was no warning about a change in location for either pick up or drop off and the locations weren't exactly convenient either. Thank goodness for the actual people that were there to help me otherwise I would have been completely lost and when trying to call U Haul's 800 # I waited for over 20 mins for a customer service rep to answer the phone and then gave up and disconnected the call. That online/App experience has definitely made me reconsider using U Haul again.MARYLEECH H.

Office is a bit cramped. With Covid issues there were 6 or more people in a tight space with no opportunity to social distance. Everyone was wearing a mask, but I would check for an easier way to pick up vehicle without having to enter the office area.Robert B.

4 people without masks in a little 5x5 office is extremely unsafe and rude to endanger customers. 1 of them drove the uhaul out front without gloves or a mask, so I had to touch all the surfaces he just touched to drive the uhaul home. Very minor issues with the vehicle but for a work truck with 11k miles on it, I really couldn't have been happier. The service was courteous and professional, no nonsense, very upfront about things, clearly the man behind the counter had experience in renting these vehicles and he used that experience to help me out. I have checked out other rental places, none are as "you want truck, here's your truck" as U-haul. Fast, you need a driver's license and a credit card, sign a few papers, give a little information, you are in and out in 1/2 hour or less (assuming they have the vehicle you want / need), nothing else comes close to this level of service.Pascal J.

The men working in the store had no masks on during this pandemic. The space for rental is very cramped and I felt very uncomfortable waiting inside the store. They allowed customers to enter without masks. Arrived at the site and my rental had been given to somebody that showed up 90 minutes before my reservation started. The location claimed my name/information didn't exist in their system. Now I'm getting emails/receipts showing me picking up the truck, paying for the truck, and returning it this morning. Called the site and was told the same story and that somebody would call me back but really it is a UHaul problem..the site is "simply an Exxon gas station". Terrible. I've now spent my Saturday night on hold with Uhaul for 45 minutes (nobody ever picked up). I sent an email through the website (no response). It's now 4:15 on Sunday evening and I'm wasting more time on a reservation that I was never able to pick up. On top of the fact that we had helpers lined up to help us move to coincide with the rental truck on Saturday night. Just an absolute disaster of a customer service experience.Christopher A.

The guy was rude and took other customers while getting mine done. You need one for gas one for trucks! The truck in back hadn't been swept! I hadn't got out of parking lot and mile changed so I paid almost a dollar for a mile I didnt use. I was told it was 100 to hold on card due to prepaid card..held $175 ?? for someone might not have in account is unacceptable! HeDawn S.
Maybe actually preapprove your customers before they get there instead of surprising them with additional requirements while sitting in the parking lot waiting to pick up your vehicle. Not to mention the four methods that are acceptable for final approval. I am a teacher so there is no way to verify my employment on a Sunday, on 4th of July weekend no less. Not everyone who rents from you is moving (I wasn't) so there can is no lease to show you. And not everyone has a passport. Which left me the option of providing an alternate contact who was at work and could not answer when called and then had to call back and sit on hold. I was borrowing your van, not visiting Fort Knox. I found the whole experience insulting and really ridiculous considering you already had my drivers license number and my credit card number. I was waiting to be asked for a urine sample and blood donation. I will never utilize your company again nor will I ever recommend that anyone else do so.Tanya D.
