The check engine light was on . I mentioned to the clerk an$ said that was in the computer. Don't you take care of your equipment? How am I to believe I won't get stranded?

My biggest issue was that I wasn't told that I had to do the check-in while in the parking lot dropping off the truck so I didn't try to check-in until I got back to my house. So now I get charg d an extra $20 because I want informed of the process!

CALINDA M R.Clean and service the vehicle mechanically and don't give the customer a truck that has dirt on the floor of the cab and dirt in the cargo area on checkout. Truck also didn't run very well, mirrors did not adjust which made the day difficult. Equipment I requested with my truck reservation was not available at this location. Some of the equipment that was provided with truck was already broken on checkout.
Cody R.Armor storage actually made the changes I would've liked to see right before we moved out. I chose it because I needed the closest spot, but the through-the-office access was extremely inconvenient and gave us issues. Thank you for installing the coded access! That was all it needed!

Tomas R.The after hours drop off process was really good and fairly easy. I wouldn't recommend this location for a nighttime drop off though as it was in a pretty rough neighborhood and there were some people just hanging out nearby that made me glad I had our dog with me.

The app did not work and was unsuccessful in returning truck after several attempts to contact coustomer services with no help and they advised to contact store Monday and I have not been successful yet. I should not be charged extra if you can not contact anyone for help if you need it. Wr get trailers every year for iur business but this experience was the worse.
GEORGETTE G.No one was in the building when we arrived. Door was locked. When the rep arrived he seemed confused that we were there. The two utility dollies we ordered were not available. We were forced to go pick them up from another location. The truck was almost out of gas. The back of the truck was dirty and still had other people's trash in it. We weren't offered a lock at pick up so we had to go to a hardware store to purchase one. We were told we'd be reimbursed for the gas we put it. The rep was unable to reimburse us at time of drop off. Told us we'd have to call corporate and handle it ourselves. We've never had this kind of experience with UHaul before.
HALEY C.They gave us a truck with sensor light malfunction light on. Service dept. said truck was ok to drive. Drove 1500 miles and lucky we got their safely. Tire was bad. Road assistance couldnt believe they rented us this truck in this condition. 3 different types of tires on a truck.

Had a lady who was VERY nice and helpful working at the facility that was not able to access the right computer pages to do her job. She was trying her best with what she had. she was from another faculty there trying to help. I was paid up til end of month, received a call on a Monday (about the 5th of the Month) was told I needed to get my stuff out because they were going to remodel) by the Friday of that week. When I arrived at the facility on Wednesday there was no one there "manager went to lunch, did not leave a return soon note. then when I spoke to him about the call about moving out he acted dumb as though he was not the one to call and tell me to move out. there were weeds everywhere and blocking the entrance to the unit. the Box to open the gate in in a bad spot both entering and exiting. Very difficult to use when driving a truck. Would never recommend this place to storage anything even trash.

COLLEEN S.The absolute worst experience i have ever had with any company i have ever dealt with in my almost 50 years. Beyond shoddy business practices. Complete willful neglect. It RAINED inside the building for months and the staff and manager were completely aware of the situation and allowed it to continue unfixed. Not only did they not contact me to rescue what items i could but they continued to collect rent from me for months on a unit that they KNEW was full of my ruined now molded possessions. That is FRAUD! The employee willingly admitted everything on video and implicated the management as faulty. I am taking my complaint to the attorney General, 7 can help and to court. That is beyond willful negligence it is straight up fraud.

I paid for two days, since I didn't expect to return it within two hours, but the group worked quickly and I was able to return it before the 1:00 pm deadline, but she was not able to make the refund on my credit card. But that is supposed to be done and emailed to me. If so, GREAT!

Edward K.Gas guage was listed as 3/4 tank, after driving less than a mile or dropped to between 1/2 and 5/8. drove 27 miles, took almost 4 gallons to get back to 3/4. No adjustment made. Late on returning after lunch almost 20 minutes.

celest M.I rented a 15' truck and car carrier. I arrived and I was told by the only employee at the facility that I would have to hook up my car carrier myself because she didn't know how??? I also had to hook up my car by myself with no assistance. Do you know how hard it is to hook up a trailer by yourself?? I then had to drive the trailer out of a facility that is obviously no intended for a car carrier since I had to make a 90 degree turn with no ability to straighten out the carrier and there were security gates and concrete posts on all sides -- it took me over an hour in the heat.
David L.It is a bad area in town and would not have gone here by choice. I was forced to use this location because there was a lack of trucks at my preferred UHaul location. Also a dolly was not provided when I requested one and will be working to refund that portion on my bill. Much worse than my other UHaul experiences but will continue to use the 18th & Cummings location.

But I would rather comment on my van NOT being available and having to drive to two locations before I was able to get a truck that was bigger than I wanted. The reservation process was disappointing for sure...and then the U-Haul website was down and so the customer service agent at the place had to keep me waiting through no fault of her own. I was finally on my way with a vehicle at 9:50 when it was supposed to be 9:00.

Collin W.I rented a 6 x 12 trailer for one day and was told the price would be much less than the 2 day rental cost that was advertised. Well, I was lied to- I had to pay the full two day cost!! The lights did not work right either-no tail or brake lights and yes, I checked my truck-they worked fine. Not impressed with your dishonesty!!!
