We asked and paid to have a dolly, but it wasn't with the truck. Then we couldn't reach anyone in the office for the next few hours, we tried a few different numbers and no response. So, we paid for something that we didn't get to use, but we desperately needed because my husband had to unload the truck alone in Washington, NJ.Takisha K.

Was scheduled to pick up van at 10am. Got there 9:50 sharp and had a bit of complications with the representative. Did not get the van until a few minutes before 10:45. Representative did not hand over key when screen said I was good to grab one. Had to call uHaul office and someone there let him know the contract was complete. Upon entering the van, the maintenance light came on in the dashboard. It said tire pressure was low, the van had low tire pressures causing milaeage and gas to go down drastically! None of this being my fault but overall had a horrible experience with uHaul and nothing to compensate for the problems I faced. Will not be renting from here again until otherwise.Brian N.

Hi! The personnel at this location was very nice and very helpful. We had to drive 30 minutes out of our way to pick up the truck. We were originally told that pick up would be in Jersey City, NJ. Not happy for the added stress in driving there. Not happy with the U Haul representatives that I spoke with on the phone. We ordered a 10 foot truck and had to take a 15foot truck, also was not discounted for the $100 difference. The representative gave us an extra day, which was no use to us. Very, very upset with UHaul, we would like to be reimbursed for the difference of renting a 10 foot truck. Like I said it was very stressful to get an email saying we have to take a 15 foot truck to drive in a busy area because there were not any 10 foot trucks available, then to have to pay a higher price then what we were expecting, plus drive 30 minutes to pick up the truck. Such a bad experience!!!james L.

I booked this truck two months ago from a different location and was notified less than 24 hours prior to pick up that it wasn't available. This is the second time I had to go out of my way in a panic. I don't beleive I will be using uhaul to move in the future if this is the way you do business.Michelle W.
Couldn't get an emailed copy of my receipt nor could I get a printed copy. Rep sent a pic of the computer screen. Chains were left low causing drag. This was pointed out when the trailer was dropped off and rep asked who hooked up the trailer. Nonetheless, the rep was pleasant. Need better working office equipment.Rebecca G.

First and foremost I got no help from anyone when trying to find out the different trucks I should use, customer service is the fucking worst because I was on the phone for almost 9hours and the live help was well shit. My reservation was for 9a the rep didn't show up until 9:45a I was completely annoyed because my original request was for another location at 8a so instead of being delayed 1 hour I was delayed 2 hours. Very friendly and helpful. Had my drop-off processed quickly. Close to Newark airport, so handy for a speedy exit. A little off the main thoroughfare however, so had to call an Uber rather than being able to flag a cab. I'd happily use this location again.Kevin M.
When someone wants to schedule a pick up and you guys confirm all the details try not to change them for your convenience I was scheduled for Hillside then sent to Elizabeth and when he did not arrive to work on time you tried to send me to Linden.
