The truck was filthy on the inside, there were multiple scratches/dents on the outside, and the front bumper was hanging off on both the passenger and drivers' sides. In addition, it took 2 hours to get through to a UHAUL representative on the phone to report the external damages and dirty internal condition of the truck as the upload photos section of the mobile site was not working. After being put on hold multiple times and transferred multiple times, I finally got through to some who was supposed to notate my account with the issues. Now I am looking at my receipt and Uhaul is attempting to charge me a cleaning fee. This is absolutely unacceptable.Devon C.

When customer return truck their paperwork needs to be processed immediately, not two or three days later. No agent should go home with the keys in their pocket. Ms. Jaquan in the beginning was a great source of help because I could not navigate my phone to take pics of things. Another thing, that cramped street with residential living is an accident to happen. I will use live pickup of vehicle and wait for my receipt the same day from this point on. I did a contactless dropoff with the Uhaul at this site because it was raining heavily. The key was put in the return drop off the same day of renting however Uhaul neglected to check their dropbox and attempted to charge me daily for the truck. A quick phone call revealed they were basically accusing me of stealing the truck, saying it had never been returned. As this was clearly incorrect I asked to speak to the district manager. Though I was given a lame excuse that the local manager was out of town for a week and a half and playing catch up on his work, Tim was able to get everything in order for me. He reversed the charges on my account and found the truck! He was very polite, apologetic, and understanding. If it wasn't for him this would be a completely horrible review. I still wouldn't recommend this location to anyone but Tim is Atlanta Storage's one saving grace.Karen E.

I waited 45 minutes to be able to pick up a truck. The sign said back at 2:00 and rep came back at 2:30. The bigger problem was having to drive 25 miles to get a truck that I reserved at the original location. I was not notified in any way until I showed up to pick it up.GRANT C.

There seemed to be conflicting advice between what UHaul texted me to do on returning equipment (to use the app to return if it was after hours) and what the UHaul representative thought I should be doing (using the app even though it was still business hours). I rented a uhaul here on June 12th at 9:50am. I returned the Uhaul between 12:50pm - 1:10pm that same afternoon. When I returned the Uhaul I asked the gentleman behind the counter if he needed me to give him the return mileage. He told me no and I left thinking everything was good. On Thursday, I received my receipt that overcharged me for the use of the truck. The receipt stated that I returned the truck 2 days later and that I drove over 150 miles. That is entirely incorrect. I called the manager Thursday to let him know the issue. I believe they have me confused with the guy who rented a truck before I did. He was renting his truck for 2 days and I was only renting my truck for a few hours. He apologized and told me he would talk to the person who was there and look at the surveillance tape to see when I brought the truck back. He called me back that afternoon and said he was still trying to find the surveillance footage, but that he posted a return payment of $357 to my debit card and he will only charge me for the the miles I accumulated. When I had the truck the mileage at the start was 44443 and when I returned it was 44491 and I filled it to a half of tank. I appreciate the manager trying to fix the situation, but I still don't have the $357 returned to my account. Hopefully it comes back into my account on Monday. If not, I will be calling again to make sure this is corrected. Due to this situation, I seriously doubt that I will ever use Uhaul again to move anything. I will use Budget or another company.Taylor H.

Although there are signs, I missed it. The rep was very unprofessional in trying to direct me to the procedure for pickup. I know it wasn't just me because someone was screaming at him after I checked in about a previous encounter of him being rude. To make that even worse than the arrival I tried to hand the rep the keys because the key feel off the ring. He walked to the door opened it grab the key and shit the boot back abruptly and walked off. Never mind there was a customer behind me who may not have seen the same signs. Customer service could be a bit better if you want to get people to return or stay. This encounter was the exact reason I picked another storage facility. Customer service at its worst.Deirdre S.

I'm great when it come to computers but this Uhaul App and Website gave me problems... I couldn't find the reservation order online it kept telling me I didn't have one.. it was frustrating because we had the movers waiting around but "MALCOLM" SAVED THE DAY by this being a mobile uhaul service he is not obligated to do so but he went ahead and assisted us. I also couldn't find where to go to return truck so I called this morning no answer but just so happen I checked the email and he was already on top of everything. My van wasn't ready at the time I reserved it because the last person didn't return it on time. But I wasn't notified of that, so I showed up at location to do cellphone pick-up at 7:30 and was only then informed that I'd have to come back at 1pm when the office opened to do the physical pick-up. Which delayed my trip/move by six hours. The man in the office was easy to work with, and I didn't have any issues after the pick-up problem, but it was a pretty big inconvenience. I wish I had known sooner so I could have planned.Daryl F.
Was told that after 100 miles it would be 52 cent per mile but was charged 72 cent per mile . The employee that checked me in was rude and preceded to tell me it was not his job to check mr in and I could do it from the appCALVIN R.

The return entrance is too narrow from a narrow street for large trucks to enter and exit, as even exclaimed by the employee while I was maneuvering the truck to enter. The employee said "That's why I don't even try" after he told me that's where I had to pull into. It took many times for me to back up and adjust the vehicle to not hit the fence. The employee told me there was nothing else needed. Two days later when the truck was actually due, I got a text message reminding me the truck needs returned. I called customer service, who said there was no record of the truck being returned, and said I needed to contact the location directly. I called three times within 30 minutes until someone at the location answered, which after waiting on them for several minutes, came back on and said they have the truck (I know they did) and there was "confusion between trucks" on their end. They said they would be entering my information soon. I called UHaul customer service after about 15 min, who then confirmed they had record of the truck being returned 2 days prior. I could have gone without this back and forth, and wouldn't recommend this drop off location because of these reasons.Kristofer B.

Have more than 30 miles till empty of gas in tank, and if appliance dolly is not at location customer should be notified so they will have time to make other arrangements. Moving is stressful enough customers shouldn't have to go hunt a needed dolly before they can even start there move.ronnie Sr. C.

I moved out of a storage unit in Atlanta. Dec 30th. And I was charged in full for the storage unit just 4 days into the billing period. And charged a late fee. I asked for a military discount at pick up and was sarcastically told I had to do that strike if reservation by the truck checkout clerk. I asked him how was it I know? He did promise to give me a 10% discount when I drop the truck back off but didn't. The reservationists should ask if the customer is military at time if reservation I feel; I wasn't asked. Hello! My name is Joshua Inadagbo and my U-Haul experience was awful to say the least. The truck that i was given to drive was not properly inspected upon release to me. The Air Condition would go periods of not working, making the drive uncomfortable at times. Then, the engine would over heat resulting in me having to pull over on the interstate at least 8 times to wait for things to cool down. Lastly, the engine would stall and make it impossible for me to drive over 30 miles per hour at times. When this would happen, the traction control light would come on, oil light, and the speedometer would read â€œengine power reducing service tractionâ€. Something needs to be done about this ASAP because this could have been potentially life threatening. If something is not done compensation wise, I will report u-haul to the Better Business Bureau and see what they can do about this matter. I spent $898 on this truck to move i would expect better quality.Joshua I.

Place large signs on the 2 main roads. It is difficult to find. Also, offer a military discount. I was told this location does not honor it on mileage. 79 cents vs 99 cents per mile. Finally, give credit for additional gas on return. I had half a tank on pickup, returned it with 3/4 of a tank. No credit.Robert W.
