I was annoyed that you placed a meaningless upcharge "SafeTrip" on my final invoice. I'm well aware that rental companies use these upcharges to increase revenue, but I thought UHaul was better than that. The charge was reversed at my request, but why was it there in the first place?

Just surprised it was kind of expensive to rent the 15' truck for moving only 1 way with limited kilometers allowed. The truck was clean and in good condition, There was no pre delivery checks before driving away. Had to go to through them alone. Moving experience was excellent and was done earlier than expected. The truck was returned the same day although it was due the next morning. Had trouble pulling the door down after loading as it was in locked position. A piece of advice to all is : read the instructions painted on the door. The door spring is not balanced and it went up pretty fast. Overall it was good experience to deal with U Haul.

This is the second necessary rental of a 9' van. Both times, the outside was clean but the inside is not. Most of the dash was very dusty and I felt it necessary to wipe off the touch surfaces with Lysol wipes. (The rental location is a car detailer and I would never consider them to even wash my car!) I was moving upholstered furniture, and both times I was obliged the thoroughly sweep out the cargo area and the put down moving blankets to protect and keep my furniture clean.

At last UHaul c/s listened!!! Someone cleaned the inside of the windshield in this 20' truck. THANK YOU. It only took a year of comments but you did something,about it-much appreciated!

Equipment was good BUT (no one at U Haul seems to listen) the inside of the windshield was f--g FILTHY!!!! Why do dealers not clean this glass-constant complaint but as usual-no response. Poor customer service for a high volume client!!!!!!

WHY don't people, or U H dealers, clean the inside of the truck windshield "on occasion"? Rest of truck was great but on a sunny day with a DIRTY windshield it makes things more difficult! Important to know that this comment applies to MOST U H dealers-not just this one!!!

The app did not work priperly on my Samsung S10 phone, it took almost 30 to pickup as a result. Fix the app, or simply advise people NOT to use the app.

The equipment was good-clean and running well but the U Haul 24/7 service was ssslllooooowwwww! 8-10 minutes for approval for a frequent customer sucks! Upon return it took 4 minutes for the 'choose payment type' box to allow info input. All of this on a cold rainy day-not impressed.

The mobile app for online pickup and online return doesn't work. There is no response as soon as the driver picture was taken. Beside, the live chat person couldn't help me on the issue. Try to call the customer service person ... They couldn't help too. I have to go into the browser, instead of the app, to pick up the car instead. Besides, the approval process took more than 15 mins. These whole thing took me more than an hour

After the reservation, it's not fair to change the pickup location every half an hour. I booked to pick up the truck in Mississauga, I picked the truck in Markham due to nonavailability. Who will pay the charges for uber from Mississauga to Markham? I was happy to pick the truck using a mobile, which is very easy and convinent even after the location is closed.

I paid to have a Dolly. After reaching my destination I came to the knowledge that there was no dolly in the truck. I was on a time constraint and had to hire a mover costing me $100/hour for 4 hours. I will be calling in the morning to discuss as I've had a 14 hour day moving.

Used uhaul 3 times in past 2 months and each time was an absolute headache. From waiting in line for 45 MINUTES only to be told our truck battery was dead and needed to wait 2 hours for someone to come fix it, to the most recent time where they screwed up our drop off location from Tillsonburg to Scarborough!! Never again.

Pickup process was terrible. Was on phone for over 95 minutes. 95 minutes. More than an hour and a half. Really should waive the cost of the rental to offset than inconvenience.

The van I rented had just been used to carry probably manure and although it seemed cleaned (some sand in the cargo area), the smell left in it was overwhelming. Since it was a very hot day, we had to use the AC which meant recycling the awful air. The smell was so bad that all our clothes smelled to it just 30 minutes into the ride. Although the overall condition of the Van was okay, please make sure that when they use it to carry manure, it is actually washed and treated. Just remembering the time in the Van makes me feel bad.

I picked this location because it was the closest one that had the truck I needed available. The truck was in good shape. I had asked for a dolly, but the truck didn't have one in it. To be honest, because of the late notice, I understand that. I wasn't charged for the dolly because the operator realised that there probably wouldn't be one at the location.

Gas gauge did not seem very accurate. Needle moved almost 1/8th of a tank just driving a few blocks away during my first 5 minutes of driving, but I used less than 1/2 a tank over the full 24hr period.

I dropped off late the same day. Now I'm getting calls that I dropped off 3 days later and I'm being over-charged. Your client service rep whom I spoke with was extremely helpful. But I have used U-Haul for years and am not sure I can go forward. The experience was that bad!

Their contact phone number is through “Fine Details”. The few times I have called and left messages they were not returned. However when I have reserved on line or just dropped by, I have always been able to get a vehicle I need. Friendly courteous service. I recommend.

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had renting a truck. After this I will never use u haul again. I was setup for mobile pickup. The website didn't work. The app didn't work. The instructions in the email were incorrect. Calling into u haul was an even bigger nightmare. All of the representatives were rude and impatient. It took me over 45 minutes to deal with u haul over the phone before they said I could actually pick up the truck and it cost me over $100 in extra time I had to pay a labour crew to stand around and do nothing while I dealt with u haul. I would expect u haul to have the decency to reimburse me for my truck rental and the $100 I lost in labour due to u haul's disfunctional mobile pickup system. Regardless, after this experience I will vehemently recommend against u haul to everyone I know in the industry and I will certainly never do business with U haul again.

U-Haul mobile app is utter waste... Keep updating my photos...not reflecting or giving any failure indication. Had to call customer support to solve the issue over web. Need to explain the process in advance. After reaching location giving steps to upload photos and license etc. Need to communicate to user the process in advance and fix the app issue. I was rerouted to this location because the location I had reserved a truck at, had two inoperable trucks. It was only when I arrived to pick up my truck (after I had reserved it several days prior) that I was informed that one truck was broken and the other, they had no key for. Why wasn't I informed prior to pickup? The attendant at the Fenton drive location near midland and Steeles was also rude and unhelpful. She demanded that I fix any issues by calling uhaul instead of trying to call herself. You have to realize that this turned what could have been a ten minute rental into an hour and a half long experience. Uhauls customer service department was extremely helpful and I comment uhaul for that. I would recommend that uhaul seriously review the training/protocol being undertaken at the Fenton drive location near Steeles and midland. I plan on never going there again for anything.

Before i left , The wiper fluid was completely empty and the indicator light did not come on. The staff was very helpful in filling up the wiper fluid reservoir. They did this quickly and I was on my way. Thank you!!!!

One of the tires needed air and there was only a quarter tank of gas. Because of the error message about the low air in the tire, it was difficult to get the odometer reading and we waited on the phone for road service for a long time without getting help. Will not pickup using the web service again.
