The front desk clerk was nice, but the experience of getting the truck was horrible. I checked in online and she thought I was finished. The lady had to clean the back part of the truck when we there because the previous renters left towels and trash in it. I called Uhaul before driving off to see about uploading pictures and they told me the truck had not been dispatched. That took another 20-30 minutes to complete. The front part of the truck had cat hair in there. The entire experience was horrible. I wasn't told until Thursday that I had to drive 40 minutes to pick up a truck and with the delay caused me to be extra late to work. I have used Uhaul on several occasions and this by far was the worst experience. Highly disappointed.Larry H.

I live in concord,NC. I purchased a HD.MC MAY 27,2021 from the Pelham,AL. HD.Dealership. I rented a 9'x5' ramp trailer in Woodstock,AL. Trailer had 6 , D rings inside the trailer bed . Used Four commercial grade ratchet straps to stabilize the motor cycle. This is a great piece of equipment to transport a motorcycle or anything you need to move.James M.

I dropped the unit off at 5 am. I left it sitting ahead of the other trailers so it would be noticed. It sat that way for three days looking out of place from the rest. I guess appearance isn't too important to them??Tom S.

The lady that works at our pick up location was so sweet and helpful. When we walked around the truck to take pictures and check it out there was a danger sign attached to the passenger door. She quickly called and checked the truck before she let us leave to make sure it was safe.Jami T.

I was charged an additional fee upon dropping the rental off as the u haul place in Alabama set the trip up wrong. I told them I was picking up there and returning to Early Texas she put I was taking to cookeville TN. Even after I repeated the place I was taking it she still recorded it wrong. She was also rude and had no people skills to speak of. I have never had such a time renting from a u haul dealership ever. I was called by someone after leaving and told them about all the above and I was still charged the fee upon dropping it off which annoyed me even more considering I returned it a full day early.Henry B.

You equipment was dated with stickers cracking and peeling. Your IT systems broke down / failed during every phase of the rental. It was disappointing and can be prevented I lead a national IT practice that works on project on your scale and could help you make them more reliable. There was extreme ambiguity with my payment. The contract was reviewed at an incredibly fast pace, I was drastically overcharged on pickup, and they attempted to charge me twice the rental cost on return. What would have been a $20 rental at another location turned into an $81 dollar rental at this location. I would not recommend it to a friend and I feel swindled out of my money.Thomas M.
Not sure there will be a next time with U haul. I reserved the trailer in Pelham Al. They said they had a 6x12 trailer that just came in. I reserved it thinking I'd pick it up at that location. 2 days later via a text I got this reservation notice to pick up the trailer in Woodstock Al, 20+ mikes from my house. Almost 50 miles round trip!! I paid for the rental on line, but had to go back through everything I did on line when I picked up the trailer, including paying for it again because your system doesn't retain that info, and that along with it taking 40 minutes was extremely frustrating. I would give my experience, including the charge of $100 to rent the trailer a 2 out of 10, and that's being generous. It cost me less to rent a 20' truck from you incl mileage and gas than it did to rent this trailer. I'll not be using this service again. I do not expect anyone to contact me but it might help!!Murray S.

Nobody can assist in hooking up the trailer. Had my husband not been with me, I would have had to cancel my movers and trip. Single women do not know how to hook up trailers, test them, etc. the lady who works this location is very nice but the website should warn users if the site does not have staff . Also, I had to drive 30 miles out of town to get the trailer, the whole experience was challenging. Never had any issues the previous 5 times I rented Uhaul.Christine G.

This location is where I picked to pick-up. But U-Haul had me scheduled in system for pick-up in Woodstock, AL without letting me know what so ever, that's about 50-55 miles round trip out of my way, & half tank of gas in personal vehicle & a quarter tank of gas in U-Haul vehicle. The unit was parked in an ant bed and the unit had ants all inside the unit. I actually put a bug bomb inside the unit BEFORE I put anything inside the unit because there were so many ants inside it. The individual at the location was VERY nice but actually did not assist us at all with the unit.Yolandia E.

This comment is for the Skyland location,I had an awful experience,my truck wasn't there and they had know clue that its wasn't before I got to the location.They're not professional at all,I wasted an hour of my time goin back to a location a had already pasted to having to come back to Skyland to get my furniture.never again would I go back to that location and wouldn't recommend anybody else either.mario C.

I was charged for an additional day. I turned the truck in at 6pm and put keys/contract in the drop box on 3/24/17. Then I got a email that my credit card was charged 54.81. They said I dropped the truck off at 2:10pm and 3/25/17. I was out of town on 3/25 so there is NO WAY I could have dropped it off then. From start to finish, the is the worst experience I have ever had on renting a truck.Jamie P.
