Get discount for driving down to Bay City, Michigan instead of dropping it off in Standish, Michigan then get charged extra mileage for taking it down to Bay City.

I booked online,and you can reserve things that the business doesn't carry.Like furniture pads,wheeled furniture movers.Your expecting it when you arrive and have planned your move around it and then it's not available .

They have no time for haul rentals and act like it's a pain in there ass they want to sell you a ATV that's there thing they let us go with a hitch that did not work it was mine but they hooked it up and said it was fine after 600 miles we were totally frustrated took it into Nothern Supply they looked at it and said not right bought new hitch and we were trouble free

This location is amazing just to go walk through any time. Its an ATV shop love it. The guys handling the drop off for the u-haul lent me their broom to sweep because I forgot mine. I was 15 miles over, but they waived it, because I put more gas in then what was in there when I got it. Thank you guys you were awesome and quick with checking it back in.

Truck was dirty - food/vomit spilled, hardened all over inside driver door, food crumbs on seats, ashes on floor. Windshield caked with bugs. Rough running vehicle. Customer service at pick up was awful - decent at drop off.

Dropped off truck after office closed. Would have liked a stamped receipt, as next day's email from U-Haul showed my drop-off for that morning instead of night before. Did not cause any issues but would have preferred accurate return date and time. Email was appreciated.

I have rented uhaul 3 times this past year and this is by far the worst customer service. the lady went to stock shelves when I was standing in line so I had to ask her to help me and the man was snippy when I said I needed help.

We originally scheduled our truck for Tuesday but had to reschedule for Wednesday. The staff was polite and courteous, but also incompetent. We ordered like 20 furniture blankets, They had 12. We ordered an appliance dolly. They didn't know if they had one or where it was. Their computer was slow and they asked ME what the payment was. They didn't seem to know anything. Nice people but poorly prepared.

Truck was not clean, running light in front of cab was hanging and not secure, brakes squealed loudly when braking (brake dust on one of the wheel wells), when pulling out the ramp for the car trailer the ramp did not catch and slammed to the ground on top of my foot. Rather frustrating experience this time around.

I was originally scheduled for a 26-foot truck at RJ Rentals in Standish for Monday, Feb 5. I stopped in at that location on Satuday, Feb 3 and was told everything was set. I said I would pick up the truck around 1 PM on Monday. Monday morning I received a phone call from U-Haul 'headquarters' wondering if I had changed my mind (since they were expecting an 8 AM pick up). In our conversion I accidentally found out the truck at RJ Rentals was a 15-footer, not the 26-footer we needed--and no one had notified me. And this was the third year in a row that something similar happened at the RJ Rentals location. Thankfully the lady from U-Haul was able to get me a 26-footer at Bay Cycle Sales in Bay City. Even though RJ Rentals is 2 miles from our destination and Bay Cycle Sales is 26 miles away I will not even bother to contact RJ Rentals in the future. I don't know if the problem is with RJ Rentals or the U-HAUL company itself. I have dealt with the people at Bay Cycle Sales two different years and they are great to work with.

The first drop off sight was supposed to be in Saginaw Mi. however the business was not even open. I had to drive back to Bay City to turn in which cost me more expense in fuel. I would not recommend the Saginaw storage and rental dealer!!!

I had ordered 24 furniture pads with my reservation 2-3 days prior to pick up. When I got there, they had none. They had to get 12 from another place but we're unable to get the other 24 I had ordered. They first suggested I drive to another location and pick them up.

I was charged extra for gas after I filled it to 7/8 tank. It is confusing but I was eventually refunded the difference after I complained on line. I felt not enough was done to try to understand the situation. I told them it wasn't the money as much as the principle.

I had to go back to pick up the appliance dolly after i had gotten home with the truck, because it had not been put in the truck as it was supposed to have been. I was told i would be compensated for my travels back and forth, but one i went to drop the truck off i was charged for an extra 1.5 miles i had gone in the truck. So much for being compensated for all the miles i put on my own vehical, not to mention time and gas, to pick up something that was suposed to have been put in the truck when i picked it up an wasn't.

While trailer was clean and tires in good shape, the lighting wires need attention. When the turn signals blink, the taillights dim quite a bit. This suggests a wiring problem. Also, the renting agent should know that return is due in 72 hours, not by the end of business on the 3rd day. Thankfully I received a call from Taylor Rental in Webster that clarified this for me thus avoiding extra charges.

Have a more competent person to help with trailer hookup. The kid that helped me was lazy and ignorant, and would have left chains and,wires dragging on the ground. I had to redo the work that he did to be safe before leaving.

Called in the morning and told the woman exactly what I needed, I was hauling a motorcycle and needed a motorcycle trailer. She told me they had no actual motorcycle trailers in the area but that she had a 5x9 ENCLOSED trailer that had s motorcycle chuck in the front of it and it would work just the same, I was happy and took it. Got to the place at 545 and they closed at 6, sign the papers and go to get the trailer, NO ENCLOSED TRAILER, all they had was an open style trailer with NO MOTORCYLE CHUCK, trailer was full of snow (it hasn't snowed in 3 days).... So I hooked up to it already irritated and tried to make it work, spent over an hour trying to secure my brand new Harley to it and had to drive 35 mph home the whole way (took 2 hours) bc the motorcycle kept bouncing around. Very dissatisfied with this experience and how the woman who made the reservation handled it. Seemed like all she cared about was selling me something and not my actual needs. Don't plan on using u-haul again.
