it took two or three tries to get someone to come out and help me, more staff, better phone coverage, something would be great. They did come out and I didn't have to get out of my vehicle which is very helpful, as I have a walking disability. Thank you.

There were no rubber pieces on the chains to keep them secure, although it did not present a problem. Also the attendant forgot to check taillights once the wiring was connected. My fault as well.

Uhaul as a company (not the location where I rented the equipment) needs to figure out a better way to service customers that are requesting certain equipment (trailers, 26 foot trucks, etc). I had to call multiple times to see if the True Value location in Bay City MI would have a 26 foot truck. Unfortunately the answer was always no. Uhaul customer service said I would have to keep calling back. What ever happened to Uhaul calling me? That said, on the morning of the rental when I drove by True Value in Bay City I saw a 26 foot truck that came in the previous night. How come Uhaul does not have the technology to inform customers of this? Had I not drove by the location in Bay City I would have had to drive all the way to Saginaw which would have been wasted time and money. Uhaul needs to rethink the business model and use technology to better service your customers.

Inside cab of the truck was covered in dog hair, along with spilled pop in the cup holders and down the door. Employee cleaned the pop before leaving the lot.

I had to make a last minute move. The U-Haul closest to me didn't have the right size truck, so they checked all the other U-Haul's in my city, then all the others in surrounding cities until they found the right size truck, then they made the reservation for me. At the site were I rented the truck from, the customer service staff was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Overall, what could have been a horrible experience was made simple and easy by the staff at both sites!

Only issue we had was we filled the tank up to full and it should have been only filled to 1/2 or a little better. The man waiting on us did give us a credit for the 9 miles we went over. We appreciated that very much. He gave us a card of a manager we are to call to see if we can get the rest of the gas money back. I can't find the card to call and have been so busy haven't been able to look for it. It has to be in my car someplace. Other than our mistake of putting too much gas in it - everything really went well. Everyone I talked to was very nice.

We are in Mid Michigan where we flooded and a state of emergency and natural disaster was declared. We were charged $20 for fuel when the gauge never moved and even put a couple gallons in to avoid this. We were told to try an get it around the amount on the sheet. Which we did. It apparently does not matter. Missy at this location was very rude both when we picked it up and when I called to ask why we were charged for fuel. I will never return to this location and I will never recommend this location to everyone. It's not worth the treatment. You would think people would be a little nicer in an emergency and to people who have lost everything and their homes. Not the case here!

I was given a drop off location for the trailer I rented but wasn't able to drop it off there. I had to go to three different locations just to get rid of the trailer. Please be more informed on drop off locations!!

Was disappointed when they billed me $21.20 for gas. I filled the gas tank to the exact markings of the gas gauge & after the fact they billed my Credit Card. I contacted them & the lady did not know anything other than the fellow told her it was short on gas. This easily could have been avoided by having the gas tank full when leasing the Vehicle & expecting it to be full when it was returned. I have never rented a U Haul that was not full when receiving the Vehicle. Additionally they charged $1.50/Gallon above the price of the gas. The GAS Station is directly across the Street from the Rental Place.

When I called into uhaul for return location they gave me return location and stated location would be closed just drop by other trailers and put papers in drop box, so upon arrival I notice other trailers backed in and unhooked next too other trailers went to drop papers in box and noticed store was open so I went in gave paperwork to attendant told him were I unhook by other trailers he in return told me I unhook in wrong place and would have to move, went out and backed up to trailer and yard guy set on hitch I asked him were he would like it , he said in front of another trailer aprox. 10 ft over and in his words were quote ( can u handle that!. ) both were very unprofessional , I would have moved unit too the next county if they would have been semi curtious . I guess I thought I was being nice and feel I was treat rudely . Will use uhaul in future if needed will avoid that location if possible .
