When picking up the UhAul we got there 20 minutes early, however due to the lack instruction on where the key was located (in the building) we went 20 minutes into our time looking for the key

The whole thing was very strange to pick up a uhaul from a hotel. It was kind of uncomfortable. The process was kind of odd too. I was really put off by being told I either had to fill the tank back up or be charged, without any explanation about fuel type. And that fee was not disclosed during the initial reservation. It was a surprise that I learned as I was signing the rental agreement. So my $19.95 + $0.99 per mile rental ended up being $97.95 for two hours of use and 25mi driven. The truck served it’s purpose but the rear view mirror was stuck in a position that was very hard to see out of and there was no AC, which can be a problem if you are renting it in the summer like I just did.

DARSANBHAI PEquipment was in order, customer service was pretty terrible. He said they were not U-HAUL, they were a third-party who rented out the equipment and you can definitely tell. If you know what you’re doing, and need limited interaction, perfect. If you’re needing to interact with someone and perhaps have added assistance - go to a dealer.
Jamie WEven though I had to drive across town to pick up the trailer, the woman assisting at the pickup location was thorough, kind and helpful. She came outside to make sure everything was satisfactory before we left the parking lot.

Zach SU-Haul truck smelled like cigarette smoke. Looking for the keys was incorrect, we had to go inside the building to get the keys even though we chose self pickup and got instructions to pickup inside.

Josh HIt's at a hotel, but overall it was a very easy process. The gentleman came out and did all the work for us. We were in and out in 5 min. Very easy process.
Michael GStaff were not readily available and had to be called on phone to come to office. Truck we were given was empty on gas, told the employee, they gave us a new truck, also close to empty. Had to go get gas right away. The fees/costs were not communicated, most uhaul places allow you to drop off the equipment at the location nearest to your destination, this one makes you drive all the way back and pay for every mile. This would have been nice to have been clearly available information prior to renting, I would have chose somewhere else.

KURT CI ordered a 20 foot truck and when I got there to pick it up they only had a 26 foot truck Which did not fit in the driveway and we had to carry the stuff much further and our gas expense was higher. Should have let us know and we would have picked up a smaller truck at another location. Not happy but in a time pinch.

kimberly wVery strange setup. I really didn't like that there was a video monitor that was also recording everything I said & voice-to-text-ing everything I said in the lobby. Very weird, very surveillance state. Also, the FD was resistant to taking the pictures & checking out in front of me which made me uncomfortable. Had to convince him & then go take my own video bc he still wasn't taking the pictures. He ended up being kind about it, but it's the type of thing that makes me worried I might get scammed.
Kane Athe agent should be able to guide you to your rental equipment. Normally they help hook up the equipment, I had a 10' truck and auto carrier and he said the rentals were either in the front of the build or in the back.

ASHLEY TDon't use Baymont in Bellevue, NE if you need more than a truck. Baymont uhaul location has NO EQUIPMENT. When I scheduled rental of the truck, I also requested a hand cart & 2 furniture dollys. When I picked up the truck, they informed me they did not have anything other than the truck. I do want to thank Max & Tony @ 86th & L St. for saving the day. I went to uhaul service center to request rental of equipment not provided at Baymont and they gladly provided the equipment with no extra charge for the lack of accommodation from the Baymont facility. THANK YOU MAX & TONY for making our move easier.

MICHAEL SEvery time I come to this location the person working always scams me, he charges me for extra mileage (25.00) and he does something to where I’m not able to log on and record my mileage and gas usage on the link/app myself, it freezes up when I went to upload so then I’m not able to record the actual usage and he is able to manipulate the system and the numbers himself somehow. I will not come to this location as long as he is working there because he is dishonest and rude as well.

Henry Mi had to fill tank with over 6 gallons of gas -- for 40 miles (37miles at fill up) no way the truck gets 6mi/ gallon. plus when i opened the back there were leaves. leftover paper. and even some pennie's. again the previous renter didn't follow rules and the agent didn't do anything about it

JESSICA WTo continue my experience, we actually dropped off the vehicle on the 24 of October one day early and when I arrived at the location I parked the vehicle in a space outside and went to the counter and the clerk stated I needed to move the vehicle to another parking space not real sure why he could not move it. I thought the transaction was complete, but I received a notification from my credit card company that I was charged again and it was an additional charge for the same vehicle. I again had to call the number for Scott and was helped by another individual who stated the U-Haul system was the cause of the additional charge discrepancy. He did correct the charge. Also, on a side note I received notice in the U-Haul app I was to take the vehicle to another location in council bluffs Iowa, not sure on this one, again very confusing system you have. My experience with U-Haul was very disappointing to say the least I am not sure what to think about it.
ROBERT SI was charged for gas when I filled it up to 3/4 of the tank, which is where it was at when I picked it up. I should be able to link a photo but there’s not an option on here.
KOHL SPicked up a uhaul that was on empty. Was given a $26 gas credit which put 9 gallons of gas in it so I put another $23 in so it would be a little over half a tank. Open the back to find that the previous renter had been moving plants as there was dirt all over the floor and storage space. Had to take a leaf blower to blow all the dirt out before I could move my stuff. Second time I have had to clean a truck before I could use it. At least it wasn't broken furniture this time.

Chad BRented car trailer. The hook up and drop off were completely self service. Glad I watched the you tube videos U-haul has. There was zero involvement by the provider, other than to have me drive to the front so they could look at the connections before leaving. The return interaction was even less. I would have thought some form of return inspection would have happened. How do they know the unit is fit for the next rental?
ERNEST MNo windshield wiper fluid, this was a problem driving 1600 miles. The USB plugs for charging phones did not work. When we picked up the U-Haul it would have been nice if somebody would have ran through everything to show us how everything worked. You kind of had to figure it out on your own. There were issues with the break system on rough roads and high winds. A warning light would come on on the dash saying check brake system. If you pulled over shut the truck off turn it back on the warning light went off.
YONA WI included a utility dolly, furniture dolly, and furniture pads. Location did not have furniture dolly or pads. I called the customer support number on the app and they sent me to the central Uhaul location, where I waited almost an hour just to pick up the equipment I had already rented. Why was I able to reserve to reserve equipment that wasn't available? I would have rather picked up my whole order at one location than run around town for two hours the day of my move.

PATRICIA HThere was not an actual person working at this location. It is a hotel and when we walked in to return our truck at about 8:30pm, we were greeted by a person on a computer screen in a “self serve” kiosk who told us to leave the key on the reception desk. We did not feel comfortable with this as anyone could walk up and take the key. We opted to use the mobile app to return the truck and dropped the key in the drop box.
AMANDA Sa tire on the car hauling trailer needed to be replaced on the side of the road. Through uhaul roadside assistance i was given service by a company called Get It Done Diesel. The mechanic made quick work of the job and even spotted an issue with a second tire that was also replaced.
KEVIN CThe rep didn't come out to verify my vehicle or connections. Just turned is loose. Thankfully I'm fairly experienced with trailers.
