This is a review not just for Bemiss Rentals but for Uhaul as well. I reserved a 20 foot truck to be picked up at 1pm on 9.27.26. I rec'd several Uhaul emails including the confirmation of this reservation. I went to pick up the truck around 12pm on 9.26.26 and didn't see a 20 footer in the lot. I started going through my emails to ensure I was at the correct location. I found an email that had a location update which was approximately 20 minutes on the other side of town. I wasn't happy but realized that I missed this update, so I proceeded to the new location. When I arrived at the new location all I saw was an old Uhaul sign in front of what looked like an abandoned building. There were no trucks or any rental equipment. I called the main Uhaul number, and they told me that the truck I was looking for was not returned yet. I asked for another truck. The CSR had a hard time finding one in the area. When she finally did it was another 20-30 minutes away in another direction. I didn't want to go that way as it was not close to where I needed to go. I suggested going back to the original store that I thought that I had booked, because I saw a 26 footer there when I drove through an hour earlier. She stated that I could have it as long as it was returned by 9am the next morning. I told her that was fine, I only needed it for a few hours this afternoon and I would be done between 4-5pm on the same day. I got back on the road, grabbed some fast food on the way for lunch. When I arrived at the Uhaul lot, I went to the building where the door was locked. A lady came out to see what I needed, I told her my name and situation. She told me that I could not have the 26 footer that I had just reserved because it was already cleaned and prepped for the next customer that was going to pick up tomorrow. I explained to her that I would have it back in just a few hours, she continued to tell me no that she was not going to rent it to me and that it was her prerogative of who she rented to. She made excuses that the other reservation had been made for two weeks and mine was just made, that what if the truck broke down, I had a wreck or had a flat tire then she couldn't rent it out to them. I told her that I understood but this was an opportunity for her to make quick money as I only needed it for a couple of hours. I do appreciate her loyalty to the other customer but that did not help me at the moment. She continued to tell me no and at one point told me that I was late anyway because my pick up time was 1pm and it was now 1:30. This put me over the edge as I would have been on time if it wasn't for the other truck not being available. I explained this to her but she was not empathetic at all. She was not nice during this conversation. She did offer up a 15 footer for me to rent and she did discount the price and the mileage charge as I would now need to make 2 trips this afternoon. I accepted the 15 footer because I had no other choice. I had the truck returned by 5:30pm same day. All in all I was still able to get my work done but it was quite a hassle which will make me avoid using Uhaul in the future. Thank you for the opportunity to tell my story.

Nothing did great
April SBemiss Rentals location was fine, I will not recommend U-Haul to anyone in this area. I originally requested my truck and dolly at this location, instead I was given a location that was 30 minutes out of the way. Not a big deal, I was just going to deal with it. Upon arrival on Sep 10 at 5pm at this other shop I was given, I was walking around the building trying to figure out how to check in because the app wasn’t letting me and get my truck. At 5:09 I received an email stating my reservation was changed to Bemiss Rentals. This is ridiculous, why wasn’t I originally given that location if that’s what I requested and they had the truck I needed. On top of that, there was no dolly in the truck.
Blake WI don't know if it was clean or not because they weren't even open the day AFTER the holiday. They took an extra day off. I feel some type of way I was charged a cleaning fee for not folding the furniture pads, which this would be a first for that. I'd also been told that also it was because of smoking in the cabin. This I understand. The furniture pads not being folded however shouldn't incur a fee after paying so much to rent the truck.
Sheryn MWhen we was there for a pick up twice the first one someone was there and she wasn’t very nice and the second time she made sure she wasn’t there and I’m sure she was there because the car was there just no one answer the door so we had to use the drop box I won’t ever use that location again she wasn’t very nice the first time either at 4800 Bemiss rd

Ramon FLocation cancelled our reservation instead of reaching out to see if we were coming. Told us they rebooked it and it was not for the amount of time as we told it would be so we were charged additional and had to return the trailer sooner than expected.

isaac tPut a jack on the tongue of the trailer. Would make hooking up and unhooking much easier. The large box trailers are very heavy and hard to get high enough even with a drop hitch.

Tia FDont charge me a cleaning fee without telling me , it took important money from me for medication i needed desprately for a infection that could kill me, and becuz you randomly charged me a cleaning fee for a small amount of dirt that we over looked in the passenger side , when we didnt even use the passenger side of the truck at all. and it could of cost me my life, and i payed properly for the truck as i should have. the extra 36 dollars for some cleaning fee was ridiculious. we didnt damage the truck at all and we swept out the back ramp and driver side, unknowly didnt think the passenger side should of been dirty at all. and i put in a dispute for my 25 dollars back. I wouldnt recommend this location since they robbed me for a extra 36 dollars.
