When dropping off the man there, a large tattooed guy, came out and swore at me for parking in the wrong spot. I apologized as I didn’t know, he pointed out the sign and called me stupid, a moron and a f*cking idiot. I asked him why he was being so rude and aggressive and then asked his name, he replied with a smile, my name is f*ck you! It was incredibly intimidating and I left shaking. I told the owner (lady) and she brushed it off as well. I intend on making a gggole review of this behavior as well as requesting Uhual do an investigation, as well I will be hating my experience on Facebook and with the better business beurea. It was clear this man enjoyed being intimidating and scaring me. I will never again use them for anything, I’d rather pay 10x as much and I will make sure to tell everyone of the hundreds of people who pass through my office for advice weekly, about this man’s borderline psychotic behavior. I contemplated making a complaint to the RCMP its was so traumatic.

Again the people at the drop off location were good but I will never ever use uhaul again and I will tell everyone I know about how horrible they were to deal with. We got asked to bring a trailer from bonnyville to cranbrook so we did. Then our drop off location changed to 30 min away then 2hr 45 min away because no one "had room" for the trailer that we ended up dropping at cranbrook because that was the original deal. These unexpected location changes are absolute bullshit. If I could give uhaul negative stars I would. The people running the locations are not the problem, its the company as a whole. Be better!

Everything was fabulous. 15' trucks are wonderful as the auto transmission uses the engine nicely to brake going down steep mountain roads

Placed locked up. Had to do online stuff or phone a number to get in. Got a voice message so I texted. I was blocking other people who had access so they let me in and I left the trailer. I got a thumbs up text that I dropped the trailer. I actually talked to no one. A bit unfriendly for an old man.

Rented a 5x9 trailer for general hauling. The newer latch connectors are way better and gave me a better sense of security, compared with the unhitching experience of the last rental. This type of trailer is more robust than the 4x8 and I would recommend. One suggestion for Black Metal is to have a call button at the gate - for people who discover that their phone is dead when they reach the gate. Service friendly as ever.. Thanks

Better hours... 10am - 2pm ??? seriously, it cost me double (an extra day of rental) because of their pickup hours. Don't get me wrong, the people were great & the equipment was in good shape, but hours are insane. Not pleased, but they're the only game in town.

Although site hours were posted and I was well within those hours, there was nobody on site. I returned early because U-Haul chose a drop off that left me with 5 extra hours of driving. I would not recommend U-Haul simply because of the drop off fiasco. I didn’t even get a refund from them.

This is for Uhaul, not this specific location. Allowing people to book a one way trip and call the at pick up to inform them they can o ly return the equipment 2.5 hours away, necessitating a 5hour drive to return the vehicle is ridiculous and uncalled for. If a location isn't available for drop offs, you shouldn't be able to book a drop off there.

Equipment was on the whole well-maintained but the hitch mechanism needed lubrication. When attaching the hitch, I thought that I had torqued the coupler fully up to the ball because I could turn it no further - when in fact it was not moving further because of rusting / lack of lubrication. I made the mistake of not looking under the coupler to see how tight it was against the ball. I was fortunate that the hitch popped off the hitch ball in the parking lot of Home Depot - lightly loaded and not on the open road. When re-attaching, I had to push the coupler wedge against the ball with my finger in order to reduce the resistance to tightening. This is a 'note to file' for your staff - please don't assume that the trailer is hitched securely unless verified by visual inspection - and please ensure that all hitch mechanisms are frequently lubed. The owner at the uhual return location, Black Metal Storage, was completely unprofessional. He threatened to physically hurt me because their signage was in a poor place and I couldn't find the instructions (which weren't online) after I had already completed the return through uhual.com. He was yelling and swearing and I thought I was going to literally have to fight this man to defend myself. I will be calling the police to press charges if I can.

First of all nobody called to confirm our order. The Website said (and I really needed) the larger trailer was available. When we arrive the attendant let us know all they had were 5 x 8. She was apologetic about it but it really slowed our move down. Then when processing our return the website refused to accept our pictures (of which I still have) even though we tried multiple times and the shots are perfectly clear and sharp.

I didn't catch his name, but I felt welcomed and he was proficient in getting the paper work done. He went above and beyond other Uhaul sites I've gone through in helping hook up the trailer and ensure I was safe to go! Drop off instructions were clear. Drop off was seamless. I would rent through this dealer again :)

Everything was fantastic EXCEPT that our LEFT SIGNAL light on the trailer worked sporadically. It seemed that if the roads were wet or it was raining, the light didn't work. It worked only some of the time. This should be fixed as it could be dangerous to another customer.

Was more than an hour away from my unload location (Creston). It was closed on Sunday but I have to get up to work Sunday midnight, Monday morning and have no time to do it Monday. I used the self drop off on app and not being very tech savvy I fumbled through it.

The roll up door needs some maintenance, was hard to lift,and had to put a prop under it so it would stay up.. Also a few side marker lights were out,,

Very short notice, I showed up at this location without a reservation or anything and I was looked after like I always am at this location 10 out of 10 for customer service and the speed of the service. This location is probably one of the best I’ve ever been to.

I accidently overfilled the gas by 50 miles extra and when I asked if I could be reimbursed for the extra fuel I mistakenly put in they just said "no we don't do that" it was only 20$ but would be nice to have that back. The tank said 187miles to E, when I left the yard. 153 when I got to the gas station. And 225 when I dropped it off at black metal storage. So I had put in 38 miles worth of gas to much. But I guess that's my fault right....

I had to get another customer to help unhook the trailer. Both staff and I have a bad back we are nursing. One of those wheeled levers Bernard used in Calgary would be great at this location. I have no complaints.
