When I arrived at the boutique, everything was smoothe and I received good and courteous service from the teller. I had the truck for 4 hours but only needed 2 for a quick furniture pickup and drop. Upon return of the vehicle I proceded to perform the online return however the teller came to me to review the truck. Before paying online, he informed me that I had to pay a 5$ cleaning fee. When I asked what that fee is (because it did not appear on my uhaul return bill), he told me it's a fee for COVID-19. I refused to pay it and proceeded to pay online. It's important to mention that the truck had a loose bill and some material laying around and he also found a rubber glove under the seat that were not mine, so I wondered why they were charging a cleaning fee if evidently there was no indication that the truck was thoroghly cleaned before I took it. Overall service was fine but I'd recommend you beware of extra fees they may charge.Anthony M.

J'ai choisi l'application mobile et finalement j'ai dÃ» faire affaire avec quelqu'un et celui-ci n'Ã©tait pas prÃªt Ã l'heure prÃ©vu l'ai dÃ» attendre 35 min ce qui fait en sorte que je suis arrivÃ© en retard pour rÃ©cupÃ©rer mes affaires. De plus, il Ã©tait indiquÃ© au compteur un nombre de km trÃ¨s diffÃ©rents de ce qui Ã©tait inscrit sur mon contrat, j'ai donc dÃ» retourner voir la personne Ã l'intÃ©rieur qui encore m'a fait perdre du temps. J'ai Ã©tÃ© chargÃ© pour une assurance qui pourtant j'avais dit non car mon conjoint qui conduisait le camion est dÃ©jÃ assurÃ© pour toutes les classes car il conduit des autobus et des camions classe 1 pour son travail. Sur internet j'avais sÃ©lectionnÃ© non et il m'a chargÃ© le 18$ de plus. Avoir su avant j'aurais apportÃ© ma preuve d'assurance pour ne pas payer ce surplus. Never again , i usually recommend Uhaul cause i work in a insurance company but never again. I will make sure to warn all of my family and friends and never suggest UHAUL to no one. I had a bad experience today and the guy promissed me he was going to help me with the bill and at the end he charged me the full price and lied in my face 3 times. Awfull service , nerver again , I cried like a baby cause i cant believe my situation and no one helped me. They are thiefs and liars and i will make sure people hear about it.rosanna A.
I waited 20 minutes before having the vehicle. the guy at the counter tells me $30 for 24 hours, he asks me for how much time I'll use the vehicle ??? When I told him if I would get a discount for some hours, he told me no but he demanded that I return the vehicle after a few hours. Plus when I put gas the truck float doesn't work well, and its my takes to fill the entire tank while it was three-quarter. La personne ma donner un Bloc de 4 hrs quand javait bien reservee pour 6 hrs, il me dit que le camion etait reserve pour quelqu'un dautre apres le 4 hrs et jai toute les confirmation en main pour un 6 hrs , je le contacte plus tard pour lui dire que jai vraiment recu un text confirmant mon 6 hrs et vu que 4 hrs jetait tres serrer dans le temps il ma Donner le 6 hrs en me SPECIFIANT que jetait deja tres chanceuse davoir eu le camion parce que il aurait Ã©tÃ© mÃªme pas disponible a cause dun retard dune autre personne . AUCUNE inspection du camion a ete faite, pas de note sur le millage et lessence et jai rien signee , les couvertures a l'interieur etait plus dans le sac et le chariot etait pas celler non plus et jai rien utiliser, il ma pas charger mais il aurait pu ne pas me croire.......Ce nest pas la premiÃ¨re fois je loue avec vous et cest la premiÃ¨re fois que je voit une aussi mauvaise facon de faire.....Nancy L.

Hello, My reservation was for 7:30am to rent a 20 feet long truck to move to Brampton on May 2nd. We booked some movers ourself from 9am to 11am. I thought it was at the 360 Cremazie boulevard in Montreal. It was in fact in Terrebonne. It was on the email but only when I clicked on the link in the email. On the front page It was the Cremazie agency which were the prefered location. So...Confusing. We then went to the Terrebonne Agency. We arrived at this agency at 8:15. The store opened up at 10 am. I called the 1800 number and spoke to Amy which transferred me back to the initial disk where you chose between French and English. Then I spoke To Marianna or Marina. Explain the situation. She did not even try to help us and transferred us back to the disk. I called back and once again The agent Mariana put me back on the initial disk. We called back to speak to a manager. Once again we got put back on the disk. It is unprofessionnal, disrespectul and inacceptable. This behaviour went on during the whole 3h that I have been waiting for the truck. We decided to call back and chose english instead of French and the agent Rockwell understood the situation and help us. So she was super effective and good. She found us a new location and as we were ready to go to the new location the owner of the shop in Terrebonne arrived. it was 9:15am. My insurance company told me I was insured on trucks for my moving. So I did not wanted to take the insurance. The clerk advice was to take it because it was more than 10000lbs. I called my insurance to check and It was a good advice! so good job on this clerks. But I wanted to take the insurance back. It was impossible to put the insurance back on the contract. it took nearly one hour and 25 minutes and few phone call because it did not work. I was getting anxious because the clerk was doing everything that he could to solve the situation but nobody that he called knew what to do. I tried to call the manager on the 1800 number. And Once again, I spoke to Marinan (or Marianna) who were more and more unpleasant to talk to. She once again put me back on the initial disk where you have to chose your preferred language. It really seems like a pattern that when she does not want to deal with something, she put clients back on the initial menu in order that an other agent deal with the issue. Maybe it is not that. But it feels like it. I talked to her 4 to 5 times during the whole process and it was the same pattern every time. Anyway, the clerk at the Terrebonne was helpfull and on the contract by hand, he put back the insurance. I took the truck around 11:15, my reservation was at 7:30 am. It is unacceptable. Pour faire la rÃ©servation pas terrible, la rÃ©servation avait Ã©tÃ© fait Ã Terrebonne chemin Gascon pour jeudi 9 h30 le 23 avril 2020 et quand on a confirmÃ© la rÃ©servation Ã©tait Ã MontrÃ©al Nord le 23 avril Ã 16h00... j'ai dÃ» rappeler Ã la central pour faire la correction .. alors c'eta Un inconvÃ©nient ... j'aurai Me ramasser le matin mÃªme sans camion. Je l'aurai Pas trouvÃ© drÃ´le, alors peut-Ãªtre juste prendre les rÃ©servations comme il le fautginette L.

We filled the vehicle with gas prior to returning it and it cost $40. The mileage we completed was 69Km. The vehicle had frozen snow on the back doors which we had to remove as much as possible as it was slippery to get into back and side. This was a very poor example of what we experienced previously from UHAUL!Larry P.

The price/fees was not at all what was initially stated... My invoice clearly does not add up properly with regards to distance/rate per kms. I'm VERY upset that the initial quote was noting like what was charged after all. It was quite dishonest.JOSEPH G.

I have a very bad experience. The trailer I rented was not the one I reserved online and the link sent to me by SMS to close the return was not working. The service was terrible. I called in advance to tell the attendant I would pick it up and he didn't know I was coming. Then on place, he asked me the same questions over that I already answered in the online reservation. Then he gives me the number for a trailer that was already taken. I had to go around myself and look everywhere and then come back. I had no help to hook the trailer. I will definitely not recommend UHaul and this location.Isabeau B.

La remorque avec rampe pour transporter une moto n'etait Pas en Ã©tat de fonctionner (rÃ©servÃ© plus de 7 jours en avance ) et nous avons eu l'option d'une autre remorque . Beaucoup plus grosse et sans rampe. Nous avons dÃ» payer pour acheter une rampe en bois et sans compter les frais de carburant supplÃ©mentaires. Nous avons louer la remorque pour 10 jours et fait 2000 kms. Bref en plus la location n'est fait avec des cycle de 24h mais Ã la journÃ©e. Donc si vous aller chercher votre remorque Ã 9h00 ou 17h c le mÃªme prix.Pascal G.

Granted i arrived near the closing time. The employee didn't accompany me to the trailler to evaluate the state of the equipment (tail light was no functioning). While in the backyard, I had 3 minute till the store shutdown, when I called with no answer. When the trailler was secure, i tried looking for the clerk, that was no where to be found. it was frustrating to pay a whole extra day when i left the trailer in the evening after the store was closed and no one to answer the phone or leave a message that the trailer was returned.there should be a system in place to inform the store that the product was returned earlier than planed so we don't have to pay for something we didn't use. and the only response from the clerk was sorry that's how the system works.ANGELO P.

Truck not available as confirmed for 9:30 am a day prior. Multiple delays in having the equipment available: 9:30 then 11:00 am, then 1:00 pm and finally available at 3:00 pm, too late for us to find a replacement truck... Cabine was filthy; food crumbs all over, grease smudge on inside right door, previous renters were smokers,cab smelled like crap. Windshield badly cracked, probably unsafe to drive... Dealer did not try to find or propose alternative equipment. Due to time constrains, we had limited alternatives. We partially clean up the cab interior to make it somewhat acceptable. Really unsatisfied and disappointed with decision to rent with UHaul/this dealer location. Such poor customer service standard is unacceptable.Yves L.

When uhaul Will understand that the customer make a compagny name and they always screw something Up with the rental they gonna be able to fix their major problem in their compagny . Poor customer service poor rental the owner in this Pick Up location tries to screw us by saying we didnt put gas back in the truck . UHaul fucked up our order and said that our Truck was in another city. This is the second Time we use UHaul and Will be the last. each Time There was something wrong with our order.
