I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. I can't believe that the guy name frank represents uhaul really sketchy when I return the truck he kept calling Me through the 4 hours Rushing me rudely and very demanding yelling at me and told me not to do the return online that he would take care of it or else I would be charged for two days he made me give him 50.00$ claiming that uhaul is going to charge him for a gas fee of 50. 00$ didn't let me leave until I gave him the cash he threatened me and my brother I have a video

Schedule pick up was for a non- existing U-Haul facility, I recommend removing the South Gate address from your U-Haul website. The confirmation sheet also had the wrong address for pickup. Very unpleasant circumstances. However, The Brooklyn U-haul representative Frank redeemed the situation and was very pleasant to work with.

The place I had rented from was adequate. However I had a real difficult time with the original place I had reserved a truck from. When I arrived the place was locked and there were no instructions given to get the rental. When I called their number no one answered. I called the main customer line and they redirected me to the Brooklyn smog center where they had no idea about my rental either, I also had to take a scooter to the location because I left my vehicle at home and it was very inconvenient because of the distance. I had to call customer service for a second time and amidst my increasing frustration we finally settled the problems.

This was the first time having used uhaul to move and then got charged a cleaning fee... Dust happens and it was a simple clean that I have never been charged for before. This will be the last time we use Uhaul for our business. Thanks.

make sure you double check what they charge you. im am being charged $100 for using a $20 truck for 3 hours and only drove 11 miles.

To whom it may concern: My experience was less than ideal. I reserved my uhaul at the location nearest my residence on Atlantic Blvd., in East Los Angeles, which was within walking distance for me. I was called the day before my reservation and informed that my truck would have to picked up from a location 4 miles away. This meant that I would need to find a ride to the location, which I ended up needing to order an uber ride at an addictional cost. Upon arriving to my uhaul outlet location, the attendant Frank Lopez was courteous and helpful. No complaints there. My most major complaint was the condition of the cargo space. After doing the walkthrough for dents and damage, I received the keys and drove off. I stopped at a nearby gas station to fuel up for the day. I opened the box hatch and immediately smelled a rush of cannabis odor coming from the interior of the cargo area. I thought that perhaps a passerby was smoking nearby. The odor was that strong, but upon further inspection, I found remnants of a previous cargo haul that was absolutely used to transport cannabis. I found leaves, buds, stems and ash all throughout the floor of the cargo  box. I documented the findings and will attach the photos once I am given an email to send them to. I was out of options and time as I had to meet my movers immediately. After a few comments from my helpers and family how strong the odor was, we proceeded to load the truck up. As the heat of the day ascended, so did the odor. I had expectations that it may transfer the odor to my belongings. But I proceeded because again, I had to move that day as planned. Upon arriving at my destination and start the unloading, the opening of the gate brought the same strong rush of odor. At that time, I decided that my best option was to unload my items in the garage of my new place and let them air out in there. I had fabric dense items such as area rugs, sofas, mattreses, clothing and other misc. items that for certain smelled odorous. That is totally unacceptable. And since I was also not able to have my movers help me move the items into my new place that night, this will cause me added loss on this move and cause an additional expense of time and money. I will be needing help to bring the bulky items into the house as planned. To make matters even worse, my drop off location charged me for an additional day rental and insurance charge. I attempted to use the online check in service the same night as my rental origination, but the location map was not functioning and the service was not allowing me to procede the checkin. But I did not return the truck at 11:17 am on 9/16 (most likely the time the location checked the truck in), as noted on the return receipt, but at 10:30 pm on 9/15. I dropped the keys in the box and parked the truck next to another uhaul truck parked in the same lot. There must be cameras in the shopping center that can prove such facts.  I even left the truck with

I chose this location because the reviews said Frank is nice and check out/in was fast. They were right. It's convenient to Monterey Park. Only drawback is you need someone to drop you off—there's no street parking nearby.

The live verification is so poor that I waited in the outdoor wind 10+ minutes just for verification my id and photo, back and forth, finally, I still have to go inside the office to get my key.

Went to the Brooklyn Smog Center location after reserving a trailer at the U-Haul of Glendale at 1313 S. Brand Blvd. Trailer was not there at the promised time, and was told it wouldn't be available until the next day. Was also told there were no other trailers available in Los Angeles. We called the main office and they found one at the Brooklyn location within 20 minutes. Hate to say it , but the Glendale location is worthless. Also need to mention that I reserved the trailer 3 days before the pick up date.
