Stop advertising "unlimited " mileage when that is not what you mean The establishment was great it's Uhaul that's messed up

This was my first experience renting a truck and found it to be a very simple process. I reserved the truck online and received confirmation by text and email with an update on the change in pickup location. The pickup location was convenient and the staff was very helpful and professional. Even when I realized I needed the truck longer than expected the staff was very understanding

My issues have nothing to do with the rental pick up location but U-Haul as an organization. This rental location was not the original location given to me in my initial set up of the appointment. When I arrived at the location initially given to me the truck was not on-site. I then proceeded to be put in hold for a to be told that someone should have reached out to me in the days prior, which they did not. The incompetence and lack to attention of customers I find greatly frustrating. Due to this my day was delayed by over an hour.

Staff is friendly and available unlike Moove storage that never answers their phone. i had a storage unit at Moove and Budget. Budget is more affordable and the units are nicer and cleaner. Staff at Budget are helpful and professional.

My truck was supposed to be at another location (yours one stop) who were very rude and completely unhelpful. However Alisha was the exact opposite. Friendly, professional, and helpful.

Not this location in particular but U-Haul in general. I reserved a 20’ truck almost a month in advance for pickup at 5:30 pm from a U-Haul facility 10 minutes from my house. The day before pickup I receive a confirmation text for a 15’ truck to be picked up at 3:30 at a location 40 minutes from my house. During the course of the next 30 minutes I received several more texts all with different pickup locations. I was renting a truck, one way, to take my daughter back to school in State College, PA. On the way hole from picking up the truck, I get a phone call and confirmation text regarding my PHILADELPHIA!! In addition to all of that confusion, my bill for the 15’ foot truck to state college ended up being more expensive that the price I was quoted for a 20’ truck. Needless to say if I never need to rent a truck again, it won’t be with U-Haul

The facility was good I can't complain it was clean and the staff was friendly mostly. Late fees were high. I always got a friendly call for a reminder that my bill was late but I never got a friendly reminder that my bill was due. The fact that I was late was on me but if I'm going to get reminders I should get reminders all around the board. Outside of that everything was fine. And for the record when I say reminders I mean phone calls the same phone calls that I got when I was late not a email that's mostly going to get mixed up with junk mail.

The truck had not been swept or emptied prior to my rental, and the location did not have the correct amount of moving blankets that I rreserved.

This is the second time I have reserved a Uhaul truck on line and the second time I had to drive to a different location, out of my way, because it was not where I reserved it. The truck was sent, both times, to a random location.

This was NOT the location I chose. This was 18 minutes from my home instead of the 5 minutes for the location I actually did choose. I was also told by the scheduler that called me that I could pick up the keys early from the person at the desk. This was incorrect and led me to making a wasted trip of 40 minutes and $$$ on gas.

Experience was smooth from securing the unit to vacating. The gentleman in the office was friendly, helpful, and expedient when I signed up. I was able to call in and leave a voicemail to advise I vacated and the facility updated my status promptly the next morning. No complaints!

My unit was overrun with mice and they pooped and peed all over my furniture and all of my baby's toys and other belongings. Can't recommend this place because of that. The weather stripping on the bottom of the roll up doors often doesn't span the entire bottom of the door leaving large gaps that mice and bugs can easily get into.

The staff were always helpful. The facility is in good condition, including each of the two car storage units we rented. We will come back if it becomes necessary in the future.

This was a great storage unit! Clean, dry, no issues with the unit, nor the storage area, at all. The staff couldn't have been nicer. We needed a unit and they got us right in. They helped us pick the right unit for us and took their time with us. We didn't feel like just another customer, like some place that just try to take our money and get you out the door. Their customer service is A+. We only left because we no longer need to store anything. They made the move out process as quick and as easy as the move in process. I will recommend this place to everyone. If I need a unit in the future, this is where I will be going! THANKS!! Jason M.

Only negative complaint is that there was mouse excrement all over my things. Might be unavoidable in an outside facility, but I’d suggest making sure boxes are air-tight, and furniture is draped with “mouse-proof” covers.

Staff and facility were sterling. I enjoyed the combination of easy access with multiple layers of security. The environmentally controlled unit I rented kept our antique furniture in good shape despite the outdoor heat, humidity and brutal cold across the seasons.

I was very pleased at the cleanliness as well appreciating the lighting, etc. It was a little more expensive than I originally thought; but, otherwise, I was extremely pleased with the facility (especially the cleanliness), with the management (Lisa Buck), and with the service. I used this storage facility quite a bit. It helped me out when I thought I was going to be moving. I visited the facility at various hours of the day, and always felt safe -- even when I was there after dark. Whenever I had an interaction with the staff was always top-notch. They were professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. It turned out to be a total win for me, as the location was convenient to my location.

We rented a truck for a 1 way trip. We we re forced to pay for it for 3 days based on some ridiculous formula It look us 20 minutes to pack it, 8 hours to drive to our destination the following morning and a half hour to unload. Then we rerienes the truck. I called the 800 number and the rep was snappy and basically said I was SOL. To have to pay for the truck for that long is ridiculous! Who do you base the formula on to load/unload, 90 year old men? Google said the trip would be a 6 hour trip so we obviously weren't breaking any speed records.

I paid for 30 miles, went 7 miles over, put $25 in gas in the tank less than a mile away from dropoff and was still charged for gas? Yah, I'll rent somewhere else from here on. $128 for 6 hours and 37 miles is beyond ridiculous. No thanks.

Easy and a really nice facility. However, this was listed as a participating location for a free month of self-storage, but they told me that it wasn`t a UHaul location so I did not get a free month.

Explain about having to park outside the gate so as not to block the mechanism that unlocks it for the people who use the storage yard. I made this mistake because I thought I was supposed to park my car inside of the locked yard while using the U-Haul truck and this wouldn't have happened if I had been notified before hand. Otherwise that's my only complaint the people are very friendly and the site is easy to access.
