I preordered an appliance dolly, and a furniture dolly. I called the day before I was scheduled to pick up the truck and the dollies and was told they wouldn't have the dollies. If I wanted the dollies, they said I would have to call around and find a different U-haul location that did have them. This is not good customer service to order items and not have them available when requested and not even having someone contact me to tell me they wouldn't be available. I also preordered 48 moving blankets to pick up with the truck. When I arrived, they only had 15 available. This is the same problem as with the dollies. The pickup location should have the preordered items available at the time the truck is picked up.
Eric JMy overall issue with UHaul is the company will readily charge you for mileage overage, late returns, and low fuel(4.50/gal in my case). But will not credit you for an early return or fuel levels that are higher than when picked up. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

MERILYN DThe pickup location and staff was great. But the truck we received did not function properly. The battery on the truck did not stay charged. We could not turn the truck off & if we did for only a sec, it would need to jump started. Not to mention problems with the drop off

Benjamin SWish there was better pictures to compare too. There was a broken driver’s side mirror that I didn’t notice, till I got in the truck to drive off. I had already sent my pictures before seeing the mirror.
MATTHEW HI had to drive almost an hour from home to pick up the truck. It was decently clean, just she dirt, dust and what looked like ashes in the cab. The trailer had a crack in the above the cab driver side corner that got worse due to driving wind. Not a big deal but it stressed me out. I was given extra miles to accommodate the added travel but still went over by 4.7 miles and was charged for it. I drove the truck home, and then to my new home and then to the drop off location. Again, not a big deal but I don't think it was fair to charge me for overage when I didn't go any further than I absolutely had to after having to go so far from home to pick up the truck.

alan gI havent ever rented from a uhaul company.thought i would guve it a try and when i went to pick up the truck the truck was in empty and very nasty!!!! For such a big company the trucks should be well maintained and cleaned when a customer picks it up also the drivers side mirror was broken and the there wasnt a back up camera in the truck sad! Sad! Harland HLocation was closed during drop off. We tried to notify via U-Haul website, did not work, and customer service via phone, almost an hour wait time. Just left the trailer and took pictures for documentation of condition.
Freddie SMake sure the d-rings are welded shut and in good condition. They snapped while I was towing my motorcycle and tipped the bike over causing massive delays to my trip.
