I can't answer some of these questions, because it was closed when we got there. But dropping off in Bracebridge for an additional $220 was the only option. If anything, it was a bit hard to see Cash Express from the road. I'm glad that phone maps are as accurate as they are, otherwise who knows how long I might have searched.

Christopher SNot necessarily the locations fault as they're a small outfit, but I reserved the truck for a pickup in Burlington, and the night before I was supposed to pick it up, U-Haul called me to tell me I had to go all the way out here to Paris to pick it up or I won't get a 26' truck that I reserved 10 days in advance... They offered to let me pick the truck up early, and other supplications that cost them nothing and didn't help me. As I was packing and in a hurry during this call I asked for $100 off, they jumped at that, I really should have asked for more because this was bonkers. Cost me $100 in Uber to get to Paris, an extra $60 in gas for that pig of a truck they gave me, and 2.5 hours of my time on one of my busiest days... They also did not have the boxes, dollies, or mattress covers that I ordered, and had already paid for, with the Truck and I had to drive it to the Burlington location that I was supposed to have picked the truck up at to get my stuff. When I called back to complain about all this on the drive to Burlington I was told they've already done more than they were supposed to to help me out and that I wasn't getting any other compensation. About the truck, it was clean, and it ran, but at least one of the wheels was severely unbalanced which caused a constant shaking vibration and made it very high maintenance to drive, the transmission shuddered increasing the bouncing, going over any bump in the road was terrifying as the thing jumped, and the mileage was brutal (avg 5MPG). Overall this was an incredibly poor showing by U-Haul. The services received were NOT the services offered/requested/paid for. Forcing me to jump through hoops and pay large out of my own pocket just so I could get the truck I reserved 10 days in advance. Next to no regards for customer satisfaction or any care about customer dissatisfaction. It's obvious that management either doesn't know what's going on, or they simply don't care. I won't be a returning customer, and I'm going to be posting this story all over social media so that hopefully U-Haul loses future business as well.

But the fact that when I got there after hours the vehicle was at a different location and no information was given at the app which is a piss of crap . 30 minutes on the phone later for something that was supposed to be fast go the truck . To return the same hustle because the app didn't recognize the location because the lote is not the same as the location 303 Dunlop. Again go on the phone to be told I had to go to that location even know I had my vehicle on the different location. The whole thing was a mess . Super frustrating.

Isaiah OInitially, I was told I could pick up our truck at 10am at the Bayfield Street location. I called at 9 AM to see if I could pick it up a little bit early and they informed me that the truck was not there and they would call me back they called at 9:40 and told me it wasn’t there and I had to drive to the Dunlop location to pick it up. When I arrived the air-conditioning was not working and I was not told the drop off location in the Halliburton area. After googling the location and driving there, I found out that it was no longer in operation and I had to drive an extra 30 minutes to drop it off in Kinmount. Not impressed

John MLot was unorganized. I couldn't find my ruck, so went inside to speak to staff and, when I finally got to the front of the line, was told that I didn't have to line up at all. Went to get truck and found that there was no dolly in it (that we had reserved) and had to drive back to the store. Now 40 minutes behind schedule, on the way home, I discovered that the ventilation system was not functioning.

Chris CMy entire uhaul experience was a disaster. My pickup location was changed from Bradford to Barrier the night before, the truck wasn't even available in Barrie at the pickup time, was told to go to another location and when I got there, THEY didn't even have the truck. They offered me a 20' when I reserved a 26' and ended up having to make multiple trips to complete my move, and on top of that, the truck had a shattered passenger mirror. The representative in the store asked me to change the mirror if "it falls off". Absolutely disgusting overall experience with no location in specific, just uhaul as a company overall.

STEVE ZTrailer had burned out lights unsafe to road. As a licensed 310J mechanic these trailers are not very well maintained. Also I booked 2 trailers 2 different a days. The second booking was canceled for no reason not by me and totally screwed my moving days very unhappy with service and totally ruined my moving schedule. No reason for my second rental to be canceled and attendant said it was my fault. Will never come back ever again.
