The breaks where so bad the truck would shake the steering wheel dangerously. And the shock absorbers felt like it needed to be replaced. Too much risk

I went to the wrong truck at first and the cab had not been vacuumed and there was trash in it. The cab in the right truck was also dirty. (floor, trash). The back of the truck obviously had not been cleaned after the last use, as there was a ladder, a furniture dolly, two large pieces of Styrofoam, a can of lysol and trash on the floor. I should have taken a picture, but I didn't. I am used to renting trucks (at other sites) that look practically brand new, so I was very surprised at the condition.

The experience was awful. My truck wasn't there when I arrived. No key in the lock box and took 50 minutes with customer support to tell them they screwed me over. Will never rent from U-Haul again. This partnering with 3rd parties who don't care is an terrible decision. Budget it is! Do not contact me. Nothing more to say.

My car sits low to the ground. It would have been nice if the location had wood blocks to buy and put under the tires so once you take the car off the transport it doesn't rip off your undercarriage cover and front bumper.

I had a reservation at 8:30 on Saturday 12/13/25 and the system was down, I didn’t get the truck until 10:45am. I had my movers to be there at 9am and because I was late they still charge me $200 for the time they got there and not doing nothing because they started until 11am. I’m very upset that the time I wasted trying to get the U-Haul.

The experience was terrible. They tampered with my mileage. They charged me for 20 extra miles. And they adulterated the fuel. I have proof from when I received the truck and when I returned it. They overcharged me by $50.

I had no issues leaving the truck at the drop off location. Everyone was friendly and helpful, so I just parked the truck in the easiest parking spot, locked the truck, and took the key inside to the proprietor. He said he would take care of it from there, and I was on my way home.

For some reason the upload thing for showing the photos on the initial acquisition of the Uhaul expired and I could not get it to work during my moving day. Since I only needed the unit for a short time, and the place where I rented from was closed until monday, I couldn't push the photos through and have no clue to do so. That was the only issue I encountered, and I don't know if that has anything to do with why the charge is still pending on my credit card. Other than the confusion and snags with that - my experience was great. I was able to do what I needed to do and I felt safe and comfortable driving the truck.

These guys really don't have it together there, though I trusted they had the trucks working good. Dane the owner would make you wait a long time for everything. He helped me get a trailer but then said he needed to get his phone to take a photo, and he was gone for 10-15mins, I had to go look for him to finish getting my trailer. He said "I got side tracked". They didn't have adequate computers to process the uhaul contract, very slow. They are just too busy with their regular tire/muffler work to deal uhaul transactions.
