You people cannot improve her service until you improve your personnel my experience was one of Jerry Spring or nightmare proportion from the top of the line to the bottom of the line you people get around your customer service by having different departments and lying to those people who were in distress I will never ever use this company again if it was the last one on earth never I would never recommend this company and probably by the time I’m finished posting the truth fax that can be backed up even by police officers themselves nobody else will want to rip from you either oh and PS I’m still waiting on that call from Doug

I made arrangements with U-Haul on Skyline Drive in Tuscaloosa. I told a couple of employees at that location I would be driving the truck to Gatlinburg, TN, and would like to turn it in at Pigeon Forge. I was repeatedly told the truck would cost $29.99 per day for 3 days. Three days before I was scheduled to pick the truck up, I called the Skyline U-Haul office to confirm everything was okay. I was told they did not have truck for me - that I would have to pick it up at the 24th street office. I called that office and was told they did not have a truck for me. I called U-Haul headquarters and the scheduling office found me a truck at Bolagee, AL (40 miles from Tuscaloosa). I had no choice but to drive to that office to pick up the truck. During the call I confirmed I could drop the truck off at Pigeon Forge. I was never told the $29.99 price was for in town only and that the price would be $39.00 per day and because of the trouble I had to get the truck that price would be extended another day. I learned this from the contract I received via email. I had no choice but to agree to the new price because I had some commitments in Gatlinburg that required me to be there. When I saw the price I was to pay, it was more than $39.99 per day for 3 days would cost. I was then told by someone at U-Haul headquarters that the price for driving the truck to Gatlinburg was not bound by the $39.99 price, but that prices for out of town was preset by the final destination. The experience with U-Haul was VERY frustrating - I almost did not get a truck as had been promised, and the price was certainly not explained to me. The move alone was frustrating enough having certain deadlines I had to meet in Gatlinburg and it was certainly magnified with the experience I had with U-Haul. Your representative I dealt with in Bolagee was satisfactory, but he was not able to give me a contract because of some type of problem he was having with his hand-held computer. It was emailed to me the next day. It appeared he worked out of his car. I did not see any other U-Haul trucks or trailers while at Bolagee.

the representative was very friendly and timely. He went out of his way to get me the truck I needed and me so it would be easy to find.

The company was nice enough to transport the vehicle since I was given such a hard time by uhaul.

Wesley was great, service through uhaul over the phone was the worst. We have had enough with the bad experiences through uhaul itself.
