The lady at front telling me to park was very Rude and disrespectful. Tried to ask for direction on to get in and where to park because there is a gate but she was just yelling and giving me the mean look. Made me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. She also called me on the day I rented the uhual and started screaming at me where did I park the truck and why I haven't return the truck yet, it's already past 11am and I'm suppose to return the truck now. I had to explain to her why would I return the truck at 11am on 7/24/21, when my pick up time is at 11am 7/24/21. Had to tell her I'm looking at my receipt now and the return date and time is 7/26/21 at 11am. She didn't even apologize for calling and harassing me. She just hung up. Very very bad customer service. Hope to see a change with the service but it's what ever because I probably won't be going using this company again.Chue fue V.

For the first time customer at that location I was not sure I was at the right address because of the gate and it is a storage place. I would suggest having a U-Haul sign with the address so you could see it from the gate, maybe have a cell phone number of the the attendant so she can be called when not in the office/intercom.Craig D.

The truck had worn-out wiper blades and needed a tune-up badly. The engine kept losing power and the fuel economy gauge kept rising to high fuel economy - indicating that gas was not getting to the cylinders - possible fuel injector issue. Because the blades were worn out in a snow storm, I had to stop every exit to bang the ice off. Finally, the driver's side blade disintegrated!. I made 280 miles in 11 hours and had to take a hotel to find a repair the following day. You cost me an additional $200! This truck didn't just disintegrate all at once so it is indicative that the chain at large doesn't do a good job of checking the trucks.Dean E M.

Dropped off after hours and couldn't get the return app to work on my phone. Where to park the vehicles wasn't clearly marked and the location was kinda hidden and run-down looking. Online customer service was helpful in putting in a note in my contract what happened with online return so that I didn't need to return to the location the next day.Anna W.

The office for the drop-off location was behind a locked gate. I did not want to risk being charged for not dropping in the proper location I was able to drive through the gate and ended up being locked in and ended up crawling under a fence to get outrod N.

I was very pissed off with both locations pick up and drop off. When i picked it up it took over an hour just to get the truck, i wasted a lot of time that i could have been moving stuff. The person was not trained and wasted my time. when i had everything set up online. When i dropped it off i had to pay for more mileage even though i had set it to be dropped off at that location and it took over a half hour to leave, again untrained. So i wasted essentially 2 hours picking up and dropping off. PISS POOR SERVICE!!!!!!!JASON C.

There was grease in the back which was not seen and therefore got on shoes of the movers and on the legs of furniture, so we have grease to clean on our new carpet and on the carpet of the home we left. I called Darla at uhaul and she offered for me to bring it back to take care of it but we partially loaded and I only had the 2 moving helpers for 2 hours. Darla, at the uhaul location was excellent!!Gary S.
When I returned the equipment in Schofield,WI they stated that there was no way the location in Coon Rapids should have even rented it to us. It was out of break fluid, marker light was out, cable for the door was broken and the pin to keep the trailer on the ball was gone. I was not very happy at all.nicole G.

As far as renting a uhaul goes I was satisfied with the truck. The customer service was disappointing. She was on the phone for 10 whole minutes while I stood there in agony watching the clock. I was being locked out of my home and needed to get the truck back to get as much as I could. Finally another gal came and told her to help me and call the other person back. In spite of my need to get going she took her time. Then the lack of receipts...the gas was returned to where it was but the guy said it wasn't quite where they want it.Cherie W.

About a week after I had returned your vehicle, I received an email from you that the vehicle has still not been returned!!! Very disturbing. It turns out someone in your office failed to update in your system after I returned your equipment. Please avoid that because I had to go through a stressful period explaining date and time I dropped off your vehicle.Venny N.
The original truck I ordered had a frozen door so I could not use it. I did get a replacement bigger truck which worked out o.k. Darla did a great job of getting me into the other truck but UHaul should provide some type of assistance to her upfront. It was not made clear to me that I was going to a storage place to pick up my truck as I assumed it was to be the main UHaul store on Coon Rapids Blvd. That added more miles to my charge. If you are sending people to a different location it is your job to confirm where they are supposed to go and a phone call one day ahead is appropriate.Craig H.

There were wooden beams sitting in the truck that we picked up, which we didn't notice until we started loading our things in. We also weren't given details about really important aspects of the vehicle-- like the fact that to turn the headlights on, you have to pull out a nob hiding on the dash in the shadow of the wheel, rather than turning the end of the stick as everyone's used to. The Coon Rapids location was tucked away with lots of overgrowth. The fence was open because it was Memorial Day. I attempted to do the online return, but the service would not let me upload pictures of the trailer I was returning. I attempted several times, but it would not upload my pictures. There was a black car with 2 people in it, that drove into the UHaul/storage area and they drove past me very slowly, then stayed toward the back for a while, then drove around the lot, then parked immediately outside the lot. Because of the isolated location of this UHaul, I felt threatened and I called the 1-800 number. Thfirst 2 times I called, I was hung up on. The third time I called, as soon as "Theresa" answered, I said "please don't hang up" and told her my predicament, I must admit, I did get emotional (not at her) I was scared and just wanted to go home. She hung up on me. I called back and Theresa said that I could just leave the UHaul trailer there and I said I didn't want to be charged for a UHaul trailer if I couldn't upload the pictures and there was no proof of me returning it. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she said "One moment" and I was placed on hold for several minutes, so I hung up. I called Theresa back and asked for her employee number and she told me she wouldn't give it to me. Theresa hung up on me again. Theresa (from Arizona call center) did not provide even adequate customer service. I would be interested in speaking to a customer service representative regarding this matter.Denise S.

The entrance was not marked. I was not sure if I was entering the correct door or if the door was going to enter a utility room or perhaps a living quarters. A simple "enter" sign would suffice.brandon S.
I could not find the location that I was suppose to leave/drop the truck and trailer off at (2700 Coon Rapids Blvd-no sign and drop box). After driving around for 1-1/2 hours (and having to then charged an additional $14.00 gas charge, because I went over the mileage by 11 miles), I left the truck & trailer at the Vale St. Coon Rapid location.LINDA L.

1. Be sure during reservation that pickup time is ageed to by person renting equipment. 2. Please be sure to go over return time with person renting equipment. 3. I went to Uhaul on Lee st. and what I was looking for had already been rented. very nice men working the desk suggest that I make a reservation and he could locate the trailer I needed. he did. I pick the trailer up at 6:14pm the same day. my contract read that i must return the trailer on the second day at 1:00 --what up with that? Please ask the lady at this location to be carm and listen to the customer! Everything will work out, please here your customer out ! The men are very carm and polite. Simply clean the unit before the next customer rents it ! It had paper products inside it, as well as a dirty packing blanket ... just hadn't been inspected. On the other hand, the customer service at my original location on Lee St was exceptional. I needed a larger trailer than I had reserved. Although none was available there, the person ( Orlando ) found one for me at the alternate location and gave me directions to same.DAVID L.

Truck had a patched dent above moms attic. The patch job was poor and when it rained during my move the patch leaked. When I picked the truck up there was garbage in the cab of the truck. I had to clean it myself.Keith K.
